My husband bought this to use in the dugout during a baseball tournament where the temperatures were in the upper 90s. It helped keep the players and coaches cool even though it was blazing hot. It was easy to use - just attach to a bucket filled with ice. The grips on the fan adjust to the size of the bucket. It’s battery (rechargeable) powered, so he didn’t need an outlet and there was no cord getting in the way. And even though it works really well, it is fairly compact and was easy to carry and transport. It also didn’t make much noise so it wasn’t a distraction during the games. A+

While I loved the concept of a portable misting fan using my existing battery stash from Worx, the design of the battery casing and pull out arms that rest it on the bucket is flawed. The fan itself is smaller than a typical work bucket. So, it has two arms that pull out on a retracting band/spring. If those arms happen to slip or otherwise retract while in use, the fan falls right into the bucket. That would be an issue if the cover over the battery was water tight, but it is not. This results in water getting at the battery and ruining it. The battery was filled with water and leaking battery fluid/acid. Costly loss of a battery. I hope the fan continues to work but I will find a way to block it from falling in again (maybe adding a bucket top with a whole for the tubing).

Better with 5Ah battery. Lots of adjustments but consumes a lot of water. The mist isn’t very fine
