Wosports night vision binoculars are great! Very easy to use. IR actually had 7 settings which helps to work in all lighting conditions. If you do have any questions the company responds fast to any requests. I would definately buy again from Wosports!

These binoculars have a solid, rugged, and hefty feel that balances well in hands but is not too heavy. Easy setup to begin using. Instructions are clear, but allow time to learn the functions of the buttons and practice using the device. The buttons’ tactile feeling is excellent and responsive. The screen image is clear, stable, and sharp. Photos and videos are as good as you see on TV using military-grade optics. Details like branches and pine cones are clearly evident. We live in a rural mountain area, and I use these to observe wildlife at night. They have no clue they are being watched. The effective range is about as spec’d and is best close up. Overall, this is a fun device that is amazing, easy to use, and great for wildlife viewing.

I have wanted a night vision scope for years. The trouble is that the good ones are 30-35k and even the cheap ones are 2-3k. Just too much money. But along come IR sensitive CMOS imagers. Over the years, these chips have gotten better and better and the price keeps going down. I got this unit for under $200 and you can get similar devices for under $100. What makes this one special is a couple of things. First of all, It has 10x "optical" zoom on top of the 8x "digital" zoom. Most units only have digital zoom. Optical zoom is important because when you zoom in the image does not degrade. A digital zoom works by creating pixels to fill in the gaps created when you zoom in digitally. A digital zoom works fine in bright sunlight but when you use it in night vision mode, it becomes VERY grainy and pixelated the more you zoom in. An optical zoom suffers little degradation as you zoom, even in night vision mode. It works better to use the optical zoom to take an image and digitally zoom it in you photo imaging software. THis is because the algorithm in the software is better that the algorithm in your camera because your PC has more processing power than the camera or cellphone. So having a 10x Optical zoom is a big advantage. Now for the really special feature that I have found on no other unit in this price range. Infrared Night Vision units like this one need IR light to see with. This unit uses an 850nm wavelength illuminator to light scene. This wavelength gives the unit great seeing in total darkness. But this unit has a focusable IR illuminator that allows you change the IR beam from wide angle to spot just like the beam on some flashlights. This is a big deal because it allows you to tailor the beam to you zoom setting. When you zoom in on something that is 900-1000 feet away you can change the beam to spotlight and focus on that narrow area you are viewing. When you are viewing at wide angle, you change the beam to wide angle illumination so that you can illuminate the entire area you are viewing. I tried other units and their illuminators are fixed at one setting. So they are either good at wide angle or at zoom, but not both. I tried one unit where the illuminator was fixed at the maximum zoom setting. It was great when the unit was zoomed in on a distant object but when you went to wide angle it only lit up a tiny spot in the middle of the field and the rest of the field faded off into darkness. So that the only place you had good night vision was in that tiny center area of the view. I had never thought of this before I discovered this feature on these night vision binoculars from WoSports. Besides these two features, has all the common bells and whistles. It takes great images and videos in daylight and and good ones in the dark. It is definitely on par with other units in the same price range. It is lightweight and easy to operate. It is rechargeable. My only complaint is that the digital zoom is a bit on the fast side which makes it hard to pick an in between setting because it jumps from the min to the max so quickly. This doesn't really matter to me as I plan only to use the 10x optical zoom and not the digital. The same unit is also sold by LeeDeer although only in white on black color scheme, not the camo pattern. WoSports sells them in Camo on Black or White on Black versions. Definitely a 5 star product. Recommended for night vision on a budget.

The screen is easy to see and use. I compared the zoom feature to my binoculars and at distance the objects (people) were easier to make out with binoculars. Keep in mind this is a video chip viewer and a color screen. I was very impressed at the low light capability when the sun starts to set and its a little dark. However, at full darkness the IR filter kicks in to black and white. It's not clear. It's "ok" if you are just trying to see if there is a big object like a deer.I realize this is a low cost item. I will keep it but my needs are to have a much more zoom. I came from the surveillance systems business and you have to shell out a lot for the 'gouchie may' lenses needed. $$$$

I wanted something that wasn't going to cost hundreds of dollars. I really liked watching a video of these goggles and I was sold. Clarity is clear, easy buttons, comes in a nice durable case. Well worth the money.

I tested several other NV viewers and this was the best overall. It's the optical zoom that puts it to the top of the heap.Of course there are limitations. And yes you have to learn your way around the operation of the beast. But for a tiny fraction of what true NV gear costs you get very reasonable performance. See in the absolute absence of light. At a fair distance as well. Yes the focus is quite sensitive and as stated it is essentially a viewer, not really a binocular. But everyone likes it so there you go.Solidly built. No buggy operation. Comes with a nice case and certainly looks the business. No real cons about it, especially considering the price. The best improvement without question was the purchase of mini tripod right here on Amazon. About $8. Consider it a must have if you want clear, stable video. Very impressive Wosport.

Wife got me these as a Christmas present. Very excited Christmas morning. We live in the north, so yeah cold is an understatement, but we bundled up and sat outside just to find out the damn thing would not read, nor format the SD card that came with it, so the herd of deer that walked past we only get to remember, cause we could not take a picture. So we did the return, I contacted customer support and they were so useless. English was maybe their 4th or 5th language. Just a horrendous interaction. The second one arrived, and I giddy as a school girl being asked to the prom, slapped that SD card in and it worked!!!!Then I went outside, without a coat I was so excited, only to find out that the manual zoom and focus dials just spun and spun and spun and spun and spun, they creaked and I got happy, then back to the spinning endlessly part again.Long story short, decent optics, nice zoom and focus, poor and I mean poor workmanship, lousy build. Apparently zero quality control at the factory.
