I never leave reviews unless I am really impressed.Here is how this goes.I am really picky with art/craft supplies. I had/have a Darice heat gun * my first* the I got the ranger heat tool. I do not like loud obnoxious things that I am trying to work with. I ordered another heat gun just recently, ( it looks like they copied this one, and named it after a "friends" character!) Anyways, it was good but it had this really annoying high pitched sound and there is no way I was keeping that around. So I broke down and spent the money on this one. I was really skeptical, I watched a youtube review and it seemed appealing. Well, I love this thing. It's not loud at all, not even the highest setting! It heats instantly, no wait heat! It's perfect for embossing or drying wet colors without moving them around too much! I can now replace my Darice and my ranger heat tools because this one is AMAZING!!!!!

Works just as described. It heats up almost instantly, I like the support bracket. The only thing to remember is that you should keep it moving, like in small circles otherwise it may burn what you’re working on.

I replaced a heat gun I've used for 30+ years with this one. I'm so glad I did! Not only does it melt embossing powder more quickly, but the tool is so much lighter and easier to hold than my old one. Highly recommend!!!!

does what i need without blowing the powder every ware.only wish they had a vacume to to pick up the over dusting.

What's to say? It's supposed to get things hot. It does. This particular one doesn't seem to aim straight, like maybe one side of the heating element isn't as hot. I don't know if that is even possible and it is just as likely to be operator error. However, since I now know that about this particular heating tool, it's easy to aim where I need it to go and all is right in my embossing and crafting world.

This is the perfect heat gun for crafters because it heats fast and has low and high heat, plus it has a convenient stand to hold it while it is hot. It would get 5 stars except it is very difficult to switch the heat level in the midst of working on a project. I can't do it just with one finger while holding the gun.

This embossing tool has two speeds. Very handy. WOW makes some of the very best embossing powder so it stands to reason that WOW would have a great tool to use with it.
