Installed and easy install if you remove the two screws to your gauges and uninstall and install this one so you don’t break the plastic tab everyone takes about. Mine went in nicely and secured good. Used the rubber from my stock one and used some adhesive to restock it onto this plastic one. Highly recommend to remove the gauge screws to have little more room to put this in without breaking plastic tab.

I recently broke the little tab on my ignition switch panel trim while installing new handlebars on my RGS. Not wanting to pay Harley tax, I opted to order this one instead. Good fit. Does the job. Be very careful during installation. The tab on these, like the oem ones are very delicate. I suggest you remove the ignition switch prior to installing. Also, if you still have the original, peel off the foam backing and glue on to this one. It will prevent it from rattling.

It doesn’t come with the foam/rubber spacer on the underside so remove yours from the OEM piece of crap plastic. You can also cut your own and glue in place. Unlike the OEM, this doesn’t have the easily and often broken tiny retainer pin. OEM really is designed to fail and costs $85. Because the pin is rigid metal it can be a challenge to install but it’s worth the extra effort.

The front tab is a little longer than OEM part, so it does not fit as tight as it should, however it fills the hole and looks good and it stays in place. Much cheaper than OEM and it does what it is supposed to do.

Looks great and is a perfect fit on my 2019 RGS. Let’s be really honest here, if you really need the position marking decal like what’s on the factory piece, buy the overpriced replacement from the dealer. However, if you’ve ridden ANY HD touring models at all in the past 20+ years, you shouldn’t have a problem going without. The positions haven’t changed.

Waste of money for plastic junk. The plastic clips let go within the first week of it being installed and lost it some where on the road. The Aluminum ones are the proper ones to order. But that’s just my option and Choice.
