Went on just fine but is garbage. Unless you want to pry open your tank lid every time you get fuel. It latches but does not release. Not worth it.

Was skeptical about this product because the fitting is somewhat confusing.Installed this lil guy on a 11 SG w/o any issues.The fitting was right, the length was right and the install was easy.Did noticed some bikes may need a longer locking mechanism, it does not mean is bad, it means you just purchased the wrong one!Just make sure to install the included bracket/spring which will pop the door open when released.The bike is going for a 500+ miles weekend road trip today and will share any issues if they occur.Is not the cheapest on AMAZON nor the most expensive either.

I installed this on my motorcycle today. I think it should include some simple instructions but it’s not rocket science.

Installed on 2007 Street Glide. Was easy to install. Push button worked fine, but the piece of metal they give you for the spring was too thin. So, when the gas cap door was closed it would compress the metal spring piece and not allow the door to spring open. Had to use a small screwdriver to get the door to open again. I ordered 2 of them one for myself and one for a friend's 09 Street Glide, and he had the same problem I did. My husband has the same type (different company) of fuel door on his 2017 Street Glide which works just fine, when compared to this one, you can see the thickness difference, his spring piece is much thicker. For this reason, I cannot recommend. Returned product and received refund without an issue.

Installed on my 2020 ultra unlimited. The original gas cap push button never worked right. Could not get hd to fix it properly. This one works great

JUNK-the original cap you would pull up on the key to open it, this has 2 non-spring tabs meant to do this function. the tabs are not spring steel and much thinner than OEM so it will not work in any way, i can see to, pop the lid open. i would like to hear from someone that says it works and shake their hand!!

The catch or tongue doesn’t retract far enough so you have to pry the lid open and the lid doesn’t lift up when you push the release button.

Blew apart less then two months after install. Can’t put back together, springs flew out and gone.
