I was getting the error code(s) about clogged pump/filter. Checked the old one several times and never had any debris inside. Usually happened with larger loads, especially blankets. For a DIY guy like me, this is pretty easy to replace. Hardest part is moving the stacked washer and dryer away from the wall. I've done several loads with the new pump and everything is working well. I inspected the old pump after I removed it and nothing is obviously damaged or clogged. The old pump was warm to the touch when I removed it, so I believe the electronics inside it failed. Originally pump lasted about 7 years.

Pump came quickly and functioning well. The only issue is that the clip that supplies power to the pump came broken - it is not essential though, so it did not affect the part from working.

Perfect fit on Whirlpool Direct Drive front load washer. F09-E01 error, cleaned filter and insured drain hose path not plugged which caused the error about a year ago. This time the pump replacement was the solution. Took about 15 minutes. Washer is 7 years old with around a million miles on it. Using impact driver with 90 degree socket attachment reduced time to install by at least 1/2.

Nice piece, fit perfectly and fixed the problem. Probably saved a few hundred bucks doing it myself. Hardest part was moving the washer away from the wall, after that it took about 20 minutes.
