Marie French door refrigerator with the freezer at the bottom started acting up. The refrigerator was not cooling, but the freezer was working perfectly. The reason why is because the The cooling fan has stopped working. I had done this before about four years ago. I bought the fan for my GE profile model number from Amazon. It arrived in one day. My bottom freezer unit was disassembled, I put the new fan in plug and play type. Put everything back together. And it worked quietly and perfectly just as it was new. I think I saved about $400 by doing this myself. I highly recommend to do it.

Installed motor without issue. When power was applied and the fan cut in, it would not complete a full revolution but would start and stop continuously like it was faulting out.

GE Monogram built-in. Tech said $4k for new compressor. But it gets cold in one spot. $75 for estimate, fine, thank you for stopping by. Bit of research, bit of disassembly, found that fan was not starting every time compressor did. This bargain priced part was exactly the same size as original, which is useful and important to get fan blade positioned properly. Fridge did take 12hrs to get back to normal temps, but spot on since. Fan motor works fine, quietly moving cold air to keep my ex chilled.
