For future customer clarity when ordering: The two pound option, regardless of pictures, means you a get 1 pound weight for each wrist. The four pound option means a two pound wrist weight for each wrist for a total of four pounds. I was one of many led astray, but I thought each wrist weight would be four pounds, for a total of eight, and I was wrong.What it got right is that it does fit the wrist nicely, has good reliable velcro straps and can be secured tightly without great discomfort. Which fits my needs nicely, as I wanted wrist weight that could securely hold up a larger arm weight on my arms.The problem, other than the description, that I had was the thumb loop chafes quite a bit. And my main problem, which is I would not pay 30USD for this, convenient though the thumb hole is, I have paid less for a 20lb arm weight.

The description said I was ordering 2 pound weight gloves. The photos all showed two pound weights. Instead I received one pound weights. I needed a specific weight and did not receive it. That aside, they do seem to hold in place. You can adjust the size and tightness with the Velcro. They can fit me, my husband, and my kid -they were slightly big on the kid but I did not want to tighten it too much. The Velcro is strong and keeps it's hold around the wrist. The thumb strap is a bit uncomfortable the longer you wear it. It isn't elastic, and doesn't really have any give. The thumb piece slowly works it's way further and further down, or gets scrunched up as you move around, giving a thumb wedgie. Even when using without the thumb strap they still stay mainly in place if the Velcro is tight. The material of the part that goes around the wrists is smooth and comfortable, it did not irritate the skin at all. They have an overall durable feel.
