I put this alarm underneath my truck (to ward off thieves). I paired it with one of the strong magnets that amazon sells and it does what its suppose to do: a detterent. Sensitivity can be controlled and I set it to medium where if a minimal movement or vibration is made, the alarm would give a warning and the next disturbance, the alarm would produce this shrieking annoying loud sound. Great for doors and gates. I am bringing one to my next trip for airbnb use.

Unfortunately the alarm sound isn't that high and my car is outside. Next time, I'll buy one that also sends an alert to my phone so I'll know someone is messing with my car.

This is a neat alarm that tucks nicely into a small place. Right now, I’m swapping the same unit between my electric bike and electric scooter, but I shall be ordering another one. At that point I’ll attach each of them permanently.The unit has a short warning sound that is emitted the first time it is nudged, before going off fully if the movement persists; this is especially useful because I keep forgetting to disarm the alarm before unlocking my bike!The alarm itself is not going to deter a determined thief, but will certainly startle an opportunist. If such a scally is hanging around when you’re locking the bike, he will hear the unit arming, and may be discouraged from even attempting to steal.All in all, I think this is a smashing addition to sturdy locks for extra security.
