WSDCAM Catalytic Converter Alarm with Remote
This anti theft alarm triggered by vibration. Attached the alarm under the car on the connecting pipe or tailpipe with included stainless steel straps and heat guard tapes, if thieves attempt to remove the catalytic converter the anti theft alarm will be activated and make 113dB loud alarm. I was super surprised at how loud 113dB truly is! This product is louder than my car alarm, which claims to be a 130dB! If you want a good anti-theft deterrent, don't get anything else, trust me! This is the last alarm you'll ever want to buy, now and in the future, for real! It makes all the same sounds as my car alarm does, which seems to be a typical series of extremely alerting noises for about 10 seconds each or so.The alarm goes off for about a minute straight or so too! It could be longer, but I never timed it. I just know it seemed very very long when I tested it! I have a motion sensor device that works along side this product, so I get smart phone alerts through the app. This alarm is so loud, it sets off my motion detector before it even detects motion! The sound is so loud that it sets off the motion alarm, which is pretty awesome!One bit of advice with this product though... Make sure to read the directions carefully and hold onto them. I say this because it is preset to a very sensitive setting. A car door shutting next to it will set it off very easily, so follow the directions in the manual on how to lower the sensitivity if needed.It comes with all the bells and whistles too, no pun intended! You get a large variety of mounting capabilities to accommodate installation for just about anywhere you could possibly want it. It's also compatible with similar models of the same nature, so your remote control can be programmed to other alarms like it. You can't go wrong with this alarm, and you can trust me when I say they don't get any better this product! I can tell you this wholeheartedly, and coming from experience having at least a dozen similar products in the past. This one definitely stands out from the rest!

I bought another one but it turned out it wasn't waterproof like this one and way more flimsy. The actual alarm case is very sturdy, and seems waterproof. So this one goes on my bicycle, and the other one inside my motorcycle fairing (where it doesn't get wet). The manual explains all the settings but it also works right out of the box as the symbols are kind of self-explanatory, and it is really loud. It had everything to install it on a catalytic converter (seems good quality too), or double-sided tape to glue it onto something, or use zip ties, which I did to tie it in an inconspicuous place underneath the saddle. The remote looks just the same as with other brands, so I was hoping to use one remote for various alarms, but they do seem to have a different frequency, which is probably a good thing in the end.Would recommend even just for the sturdy, waterproof case.

This works very well. It is really loud and sensitive enough to detect any movement. You can disarm it for when you're driving and then arm it when you leave the car. If movement happens, the alarm will play a really loud noise for 30 seconds. I like that it turns off by itself, but runs long enough to get attention. It also comes with a heat protective housing and metal straps to secure it to the catalytic converter. It has everything you need and works great. My only complaint is that the instructions are a bit confusing, but not so much that I wasn't able to figure it out.

Like advertised, the alarm system sounds nice and loud. I'm not sure if it will be enough to always deter a thief, but it is loud enough to grab attention from those nearby.The remote is generic and cheap, but the alarm itself is sensitive enough to pick up on movement if the bike is pushed.

The product did not come with Heat Guarded Tapes, Stainless Steel Straps, nor does it come with a screwdriver (though I have plenty). The product page insists these items are included in the package but was not.

As you can see from my photo, my order came with everything mentioned in the description of this device. Some earlier reviews mentioned that their kit was incomplete, but the company must have corrected that issue because I received everything - even a screwdriver.I’m sure this would be a great alarm for a catalytic converter, but I’m using it as an alarm for my bike. The materials meant to make it easier to install on a catalytic converter were also very useful installing it on my bike. It was very easy to install. It’s small enough to mount in a location not too obvious. It goes off if the bike is even slightly jiggled and the alarm is very loud. It’s louder than most of the vehicle alarms I saw online, so I thought I’d give it a try on my bike (the description had a photo of one of these mounted to a bike). It’s working great for me!

Out of the box, I assembled this easily. I did have to also use a pliers that was not included in the package. The instructions are perfect and therefore quite helpful. It is a bit cold here in Minnesota currently, so I have not yet installed it onto my exhaust system (I may install it onto my RV trailer), but I did give this a try in my house. I love the variations in the alarm sounds, which are sufficiently loud to garner a great deal of attention and maybe scare away a thief or two. At the very least, if theft is attempted at my house, I'll be out there before anything can disappear. The $30 price tag seems reasonable for the design and quality of this alarm.

Un peu complexe à faire le montage. Les instructions ne sont qu'en anglais. Le son est très efficace. J'espère n'avoir jamais à l'entendre la nuit !! Je ne veux plus me faire voler mon catalyseur.Belle alternative à peu de coût. Si on prend le port d'alarme dans nos mains, ça bib et ça crie ensuite.L'efficacité à l'air d'être là !
