Good price. Arrived quickly as advertised. Very simple to install - in fact I really think I'll like the rubber gaskets that were supplied for where the seat connects to the bowl, as the original seat slipped at the connection points and never sat correctly...I also like the quiet close feature - I've dropped a lid on occasion in the past, and the noise can be unpleasant.The biggest concern I have is that the bottom side of the rim is not flat, but very concave/molded - the vendor technically shows this in the pics of the item, but you don't get a true sense of just how molded this side of the rim is (see my pic for reference). Although I haven't yet had a need to do it yet, I'm pretty sure it's going to be ugly to clean out all those little nooks and crannies. I had a new toilet bowl installed in my prior home and spent a lot more money on a bowl base with nice flat surfaces - that was money very well spent! I wish I had the option with this item...

Status: First day after installNotes: One seat, two optional methods of install. Unfortunately, I chose the expansion bolts (rubber covered bolts) option, which was an exercise in frustration and, ultimately, did not install in an acceptable way. I probably spent 15 minutes trying to make this work so that the seat was aligned properly and so that the expansion bolts would hold without popping out. After abandoning this method, I used the plastic bolts and had the seat installed and aligned in 1-2 minutes. Super easy. After install, it appears that there is still some play in the seat. It isn't too bad and seems to be at the hinge. Not optimal, but will see how it holds up over time.Pros:- Material. Seat material generally seems sturdy- Installation. Plastic bolt option was super easy to install- Comfort. Overall, seems comfortableCons- Cost. For this cost, I would have expected a better product. However, so far, it is not inadequate and seems good enough. In this time of COVID, though we aren't interested in making any unnecessary returns, so we'll keep it. If this product had cost less, I might have given it an extra star, but even with the coupon applied, this is not likely worth the $40 it cost.- Installation. Expansion bolt installation method seems flawed and frustrating. It may work for some, but I suspect it will not work well for many/most. Seems kind of pointless/wasteful to include this method, but YMMV.- Quality issue. Slight wobble seems to originate with where the seat attaches to the hinge (a problem inherent in the product), not the mount (for which the installer is responsible). We can probably adapt, though this may be a mild surprise for guests. This also may lead to unnecessary stress/wear and tear on the actual seat. Only time will tell.- Junk #1. Brand name screams "generic product," yet, for some reason, there seemed to be a need to adhere a cheap sticker to "brand" the item - with an unpronounceable name, no less. It is easy to remove, so this is trivial. But, it's just kind of dumb and wasteful - and one more thing to do to prepare it for use.- Junk #2. Others found the enclosed thank you card charming. Again, I found it to be a waste, especially when the text looks like it was copied straight out of Google Translate. Ultimately, this was another unnecessary, low effort touch. If you purchase this product, save yourself 10 seconds and put directly into recycling.Verdict: You can probably get better quality for this cost ($40) or get this level of quality for lower cost. Otherwise, this product seems acceptable and has some positive attributes. We need a second lid for our upstairs bathroom. I have ordered from a different maker (Mayfair) and will review that product after installation.

The seat itself is fine and works as described. The hardware it comes with, however, is such a soft plastic that you can't even get the bolts tightened without stripping the screw marking, and you will need to use a hacksaw or something similar to remove them and replace with (separately purchased) metal hardware. Buyer beware!
