I got my four year year-old this jacket for winter. It is velvet lined on the inside. It seems very warm. The hood is detachable. The quality is good and it looks good on him. I am happy with this purchase. Love the blue color. Its a good buy.

Just got my son's coat and I love it. It is a very nice quality. It appears to be extremely well made and cozy for our long winter months. I am confident it is going to keep my 5year old warm during our frigid Chicago winter season.

I couldn't say enough great things about this jacket.The quality is just awesome. It's thick. The zippers are well made. The inside is so, so soft and fuzzy.The fur comes off the hood if you prefer that which is a bonus, and it comes off by a high quality zipper ( not by a cheap sewed on button that will fall off in a week).My son is 6, so I decided to size up to an 8. I'm glad I did. While it's slightly larger then he is now, it won't be for very long so I would recommend sizing up so it lasts longer. Mind you, my son is also above average in weight and height so keep that in mind. It's always better to fit larger than smaller, though, especially at that age where they grow like weeds.I highly recommend this jacket. Once he grows out of it, I will definitely purchase another one from this brand. We are very happy.
