Three days before Christmas I was building a PC for my nephew on a Z490 platform. I auto-updated the bios, and the PC never re-booted. The motherboard had bricked. It also turned out that there was no bios flashback on that MSI motherboard.This adapter arrived NEXT DAY. I was able to find a pinout to the bios chip, and re-flash the chip externally.It saved me about $300 and a day of driving around in the snow looking for a Z490 motherboard.

No bug. The data lines are already at 3.3v. (I purchased this in 2025 Feb)

I updated the BIOS on my board using Raspberry Pi and this device, together they work perfectly.

It's works as intended but upon me try to remove some solder from a few pads using solder wick it rubbed the slik layer right off exposing the traces and now the USB programmer is useless so I had to order another one 😞

Used it to quickly and easily recover my 4080 super from a terrible bios flash was kind of hard to decipher the internet is your friend but totally worth it all

Útil y practico aunque no en todos los microchips encaja la piza sin embargo trae otras opciones de sockets, es de buena calidad, deberÃa tener una url para descargar el software y/o driver.

TenÃa 2 laptops con problema de bios una Dell y una Hp. Con el pude reprogramar fácilmente y sin problema, no tuve que desoldar la bios ni nada. El programa lo encuentran en lÃnea y los archivos hay un canal en telegram que tiene de todas las marcas.
