I've bought, and given away, several of this type of learning deck with keywords and other info on the card. This is by far the best of the bunch and is a keeper. In fact I own most Wyspell decks, because they're great quality with great images and good guidebooks. Although I'm an experienced Tarot reader, I never really added astrology to my repertoire, and find it easier learning the astrological associations by using the cards themselves rather than trying to memorize from a book. The cards give a lot of other useful info as well, including time frame, element, affirmation, etc. The card stock is very good and the printing is well done. The box is sturdy. I'm not a snake fan so the card back is not my favorite image, but it's well done. The book is also excellent. I take issue with some of the symbolism descriptions, but I appreciate that the symbols are sometimes described slightly differently depending on the context of the specific card. All told, a very good learning deck. If you're in the market for this type of deck, this is the one to get.

These cards are very much,(visually) like the Rider Waite deck, which was my first Tarot card deck many moons ago. I purchased these since the graphics were familiar and they offered the additional benefit of added information about each card making them an excellent deck for anyone wanting to go beyond guessing. The deck is beautiful and substantial where many tarot cards are somewhat flimsy. The coating on the cards will ensure years of use if not decades. There is also a very useful 200 page guidebook included in the box such as an affirmation, a breakdown on love, career, finance and time periods. A number the card refers to, the element, astrological sign, chakra, if it is a yes or no card and a short meaning of the card. And more... Whew....I also gifted a friend of mine a new deck! 💕☮ï¸

I like these cards. Super helpful and full of a lot of useful information. 4 stars, However the entire suit of pentacles arrived with a blemish of the edge.. Obviously happened in production or packaging. Should have had better quality control. I can still use them, just a bit of an eyesore.

For one, it is very rare I ever leave an Amazon review, as I order so much and just really have to love an item or dislike it to spend time reviewing it.With that being said, I have a little over 60 tarot/oracle decks, and when I say this one is my absolute favorite, Wyspell did their thing! This deck is beautifully and very well made, easy to shuffle. Not to mention they feel devine in your hands. I will be ordering two more, as one I want to preserve and not use; one will be my daily deck, and the other will be used from time to time. If you are a beginner, this is by far the best deck to start learning tarot, as the Wyspell book even includes information on the colors and symbolism of each card. If you were considering ordering them, do yourself a favor and like Nike. JUST DO IT!

If you're just starting out with Tarot, or if you're interested in expanding your understanding, these are the cards for you. I do it for myself, and it helps me recall the meanings.. Also, it comes with a Tarot Journal that is great for learning and just a daily journal to keep..
