The night vision is better than my Google Home camera. I can't believe this camera was so cheap considering the great quality. The functionality and features are so easy to navigate, not too much of a learning curve. Set up was a breeze. The Wi-Fi connectivity worked seamlessly and when I'm out and about during the day I have no problems checking in to my phone to see the camera at home, so the range is great. It records everything in the events section, very easy to navigate. It's about 2 seconds in lag time when viewing in real time but that's not really a big deal. I have it set up in my kitchen window pointing to the backyard (picture is with night vision) and there is no glare from the window. It looks like the camera is outdoors. I like the little green square that follows an animal or person in my backyard. Great pickup on detection. My phone alerts me when anyone is seen on my backyard. The camera also says, "you are being recorded" when it detects movement in the backyard. It can be turned off but I like it. It also has a spot light that turns on when detection is seen(I have it off) but it would be great if I had it outdoors. I would need to get a different cord if I had it outdoors but I'll probably do that if I move. I was going to get an SD card but decided to just do the $2.99 a month plan to keep the recordings. It's so cheap and totally worth it!

Over the years we've had many Wyze cams, going back to the originals. As new versions are released we have upgraded cams here and there, but this one is easily the biggest and most impressive upgrade yet. First of all the clarity of the picture with the 2.5k resolution is fantastic. I can see the individual leaves blowing or the snowflakes when its snowing. Its fantastic. The most important feature for me though is the wifi radio. It is far and away more stable in the v4s. We have two cameras pointing at our back yard so I can keep an eye on my dog while I work and he's outside, and with the v3s it was constantly dropping signal. (The cameras are mounted on the outside of our house, about 20 ft from the Ubiquiti AP, but through an exterior wall and one interior wall.) The v4s are amazingly stable. It rarely drops signal and the video is smooth and excellent. We plan to upgrade all of our cams to the v4s just because of how big of an upgrade they are (and some of our cams are still v1s).If you're looking for a great but inexpensive camera, or if you're just looking to upgrade an existing Wyze cam, you won't be disappointed. These little things are phenomenal.

We've owned probably the first version of their cams and they had their issues. The Cam v4 are way better quality, picture and functionality. Only downside is subscribing to Cam Plus for some of the functions and top quality picture. Hence the 4 star. I already pay for Ring on our house and these are supplemental cams so I really don't want to pay for another subscription, but it is WAY more reasonable than Ring is. I use a 32gn micro SD card to record events and so far it's working great. We opted for a 2 pack of black ones, and setup was a breeze. If you want a quality cam, at a great price with a very reasonable cloud recording subscription, don't hesitate to purchase.

I’m pleasantly surprised by these cameras. For the price, I didn’t have too much hope but they are really good quality! Set up is easy and the picture quality is really good! The night views are almost true color and they have decent sensitivity. The only thing I don’t like is having to have a subscription to see more than a thumbnail if you don’t put SD cards in. The good thing is, the subscription is only about $20/year per camera.All in all, so far so good and I think worth the money.

I have V3, V3 OG and now bought V4. For the same price the image is way better, it looks sharp and clear. Night vision is better too. I did not buy they subscription, SD card works okay for me. The only issue so far is it sends notifications twice. I googled some threads saying it's a known bug so likely it is what it is. Other than that it's a good product.
