How to Use this tool.
- Insert this engine barring tool into the flywheel housing until it engages the ring gear.
- Attach a 1/2-inch square drive ratchet or breaker bar
- Turn it to rotate the engine manually.
Function
- Allows you to manually rotate an engine.
- Turning the engine over to remove torque convertor bolts.
- To turn engine/flywheel, for barring over the engine to make clutch adjustments.
- To rotate an engine or turn the crank while performing valve lash adjustment, more easier.
- Older 12V have variance in transmission castings and the tool may not fit some castings, some grinding may be required.

Did what it was supposed to do.

Kept slipping on inside and didn’t rotate very well. Ended up using a pipe wrench instead.
