1997 Ford F250 HD.The plastic fastener that secures one of the rods snapped on the original part. Although there were no ratings on this item I chose it over the more reviewed ones due to a sooner delivery date. I was going camping and it really sucks when the tailgate is broken. It is also less expensive by about 3 bucks. This part looks to be much the same as the original and it was delivered on time. Thank you. I swapped the parts out yesterday. If it holds up it deserves 5 stars.
