I know - they are for holding stacks of paper, but they make the best clips for closing chip bags and especially opened bags in the freezer! They work great and NEVER break!

I ordered this package of 12 clips because I could not find them locally and I knew they were the perfect clamps for my scrapbook project which was for a special gift. Because I was unable to find a scrapbook that I wanted to use, I purchased 1/2 yard of tooled faux leather and covered a less desirable scrapbook in the correct size that I needed. I used Mod Podge on the outside covers of the scrapbook and also to the inside of the cut-to-size leather-like product. I simply used these strong clips to hold the wrapped cover edge with a one-inch border to the inside cover of the scrapbook. The covers dried in two days and I used an awl to punch the screw holes. With heavy linen 12x12 papers, the clamps were used again to hold the paper in place which covered the one-inch border on the inside of the scrapbook. This gave a very professional look. It turned out beautifully thanks to these X_Acto clips which are also very useful as clamps. Best of all, they do not mark most craft projects.

I purchased these for holding papers together and to clamp around pictures that I hang in the basement. Our basement is unfinished and I laminate written sayings and cute pictures and announcements for different events. So I put a nail in the rafters of the basement and attach a long wire to this and a bulldog clamp and hang up items that I want to look at. I have a lot of posters that I have cut a yard stick and placed behind the poster for stability and then hanged the poster using 2 bull dog clamps. Works well for me. Great Transaction. Jacquie

I bought these to close up chips and crackers. They are perfect for large chip bags, especially if you like to fold the top several times. They hold fast and won't come off.

I purchased gold or brass colour shown in the picture/ vintage industrial bulldog clip but delivered cheaply made in silver colour.. some of the the clips are not even clips properly and very sharp; high risk of a cut if you think as an industrial vintage one

I ordered these clips to help keep my cover on outside furniture down thought they would be ideal and 12 clips for £9.99 seemed reasonable however what i received wasnt i only got 1 clip not the advertised 12 and £9.99 for one clip is very expensive.
