GLASS-ETCHED ILLUMINATION
Model 12 230 the XB30 PRO 1-5x24 SR has a glass-etched illuminated XB30 PRO SR reticle, suitable for bow speeds from 215fps through to 450 fps. The cross represents 2 inches across at their corresponding distance. Range finding bars are floating so the field of view is clear and the design has bracketing of 4″ and 8″ on 20yd horizontal line, plus further 4″ brackets on dot markings out to 60yds.
Using the magnification as a calibration tool, shooters can achieve even 10 yard/9 meter increments on virtually any bow shooting up to 450 feet per second
A stepless rheostat offers total brightness control of the red illumination. Quick and accurate zero is achieved with crossbow specific, positive click ½ MOA turrets, protected from the elements with a sealed turret cap.
Waterproof, Shockproof, Nitrogen purged, all caliber rated.

If you are going to buy a hawke scope then save yourself any headache and get this one.

Lens cap of objective lens so tight that it will not flip up. Also, unlike other scope manufacturers, mounts are sold separately. I returned the scope. Vortex makes a similar but, in my opinion, a better product.

The scope is very clear during the day and even better right before dark if you turn on the lighted reticle. I got the scope calibrated orrectly to my crossbow and i can shoot a 3 1/2 inch group or better consistly everytime. I would recommend to any serious crossbow shooter.

It’s decent but if it’s bright out terrible glare. I’m going to a rifle scope on optimizer so much more clear.

This is a quality scope. I use it on an HHA Tetra Sight mounted on a Mission Sub-1 XR. The lighted reticle is great. Unlike most rifle scopes that have a 4†eye relief it has a 3†eye relief that is better for me on my crossbow. I read a review that mentioned glare as a problem in sunny conditions. I have never had trouble with glare while hunting. I did however purchase the Honeycomb sunshade attachment and have used it at the range.The other advantage to using this type scope on an HHA system is that you have the ability to use the crossbow reticle if you are unable for whatever reason to adjust the HHA sight system.Great product.
