Helmet visor fogging is a big problem when you are on the road. Rain and cold weather conditions create a fog on the inside of your visor obstructing vision, and it is very dangerous to try and wipe off while riding. The only option is to try to pull off the road while blinded to wipe the visor clear.I'd tried various coatings touted to prevent fogging on the inside of the helmet visor and none worked. My research showed that an insert is the best way to prevent fogging. This product was an inexpensive option & worth giving a try. The anti-fog insert adheres to the inside of your helmet visor. You are advised to clean the inside of your visor and wipe it with a lens cloth before inserting this lens. There is a clear cling-film alignment template that you stick to the outside of your visor to assist with proper location when installing. Apply the cling film to the outside of your cleaned visor, then peel the backing off the insert and align with the template. It sticks on with the raised silicone edge. Be careful to avoid scratching the soft film. Press firmly on the anti-fog lens over the silicone raised border to ensure the lens stays attached. I used only a lens cleaning rag or microfiber cloth to clean and maintain the lens.I just completed a 4,000-mile ride using this antifog insert riding in storms, cool weather and extremely hot weather and it worked great. Towards the end of my ride, I saw some very faint steam areas, but when I used a soft cleaning cloth to clean the lens the issue went completely away restoring the anti-fog capabilities. I stayed away from cleaning products to avoid altering the antifog surface. Using just a dry microfiber cloth rubbing gently across the liner served to clean and restore the full function of the liner for me when it was soiled with fingerprints etc.THIS WORKED GREAT THE ENTIRE time!! GREAT purchase!Some reviewers had reported problems, but my experience has been nothing but positive. I've just purchased a second antifog insert for my wife's helmet.

Super easy to put on your visor, has a guide that you can stick on the outside of your visor to make it just right. First cold days of the year in my location and zero fog, love it. I can ride without having to keep my visor opened a crack to prevent it fogging up. Big enough so it doesn't mess with your field of view either.

Effectively eliminates fog on the inside of my visor, and was easily installed. BUT, be very careful about cleaning the inside of the visor, because this anti-fog shield is soft and scratches easily. Because of my carelessness, my shield lasted only about 3 months of daily use.

The Pin Lock attachment for my particular helmet is no longer available so i purchased this. It works very well, completely unable to get this to fog in any condition and it's pretty easy to install but it can be a bit tricky:1) Before taking the actual visor out of your helmet mark with a dry erase on the outside the top and bottom of the exact middle of the visor.2) Take the visor out, clean it thoroughly and dry it, and apply the template to the outside surface making sure it's not tipped to one side or the other and it's centered left and right.3) Take the protective sheet off of the gummy side of the actual fog visor sheet.4) Bending (but not creasing) the fog visor sheet like a taco carefully line up the cross hairs on the sheet with the cross hairs on the other side of the visor.5) Continuing to bend it like a taco "lay" the visor sheet down onto the helmet visor.6) With the second protective sheet still on gently press the gummy strip down to adhere the fog visor sheet.7) Remove the second protective film from the fog visor sheet.8) Remove the template from the outside surface of the visor.9) Re-install visor in the helmet10) Clean off the dry erase.Done!

Anti fog? No, it fogs on the inside between the lense and the strip. Anti scratch? No, there are tiny scratches all over the strip. There were tiny black particles all over the lense that are near impossible to get off. Once I put my helmet on, I ended up taking off the strip because it caused a huge glare in my helmet. Don't spend your money.

I ride at 6am in the morning at temperatures in the mid 20's Fahrenheit. This worked perfectly and there has been zero fogging. There's also no noticeable distortion or glare during the day time. Only issue I have is it wasn't quite big enough for my visor so I can see the edging. It's not distracting but would have been nicer if it had been just a little bigger.

Lieferung wie immer ein Tag, top ðŸ‘Ich habe gestern noch diese selbsttönende Sonnenblende im Visier eingeklebt, zusätzlich habe ich ein Beschlagschutz speziell für diesen Helm ebenfalls angebracht sodass ein späteres Lösen der selbsttönenden Blender unwahrscheinlich ist.Wie gut die Tönung funktioniert kann ich noch nicht sagen dazu fehlt die Sonne. Denn das Wetter dementsprechend ist werde ich es testen und nachreichen.Die Sonnenschutzfolie macht einen sehr guten Eindruck und lässt sich leicht anbringen, die Haftung scheint auch in Ordnung zu sein. Ich habe das Visier zuvor gründlich mit Fensterputzmittel gereinigt, so mache ich es eigentlich immer und die Ergebnisse sind in Ordnung.
