Supplier did allow for refund. Customer service and quality of product appear good, but the description for the width of forks for what we received is incorrect. We got a standard 27" wide model.

Bought this to move machines in and out of vans and trucks. It works perfectly for this application. Worth every penny now whenever I move I can also easily move all my machines without a liftgate…although I will have to build a box for height, and a ramp up to the box to get it slightly higher for a moving truck for my heaviest machines. Im sure I’ll find many uses for this. This won’t work on a standard pallet btw, only pallets with no bottom rail…it’s too tall to fit in.

The company called me and asked for a review. So here goes.We have a sensitive instrument we had to get off of a pallet and raise to table height. This jack by itself won't lift the load high enough (36"), but it will lift our load high enough that another type of jack, lifting 3/4 ton to 60 inches, will complete the process. We also have a two ton crane available if we get stuck, but the plan was to use a lifting pallet jack, a two ton hydraulic motorized lift table, and a jack table to do the job.So our jack arrived in good condition and was dropped of by a motor freight company with a lift gate and a pallet jack of their own. The problem started when we tried to pick up our load, which was a mill-lathe machine weighing 440 Lbs GW. The lifting mechanism, which is not present on standard jacks, causes the jack height, floor to fork vertical, to be about a quarter of and inch higher than the standard pallet clearance. So unlike the freight company's jack our jack wouldn't fit under the top layer of wood in our pallet. I presume that the problem arises from the need to fit the lift machinery into the vertical design space. Anyway, a six foot crow bar solved the problem, but we kind of broke the pallet into pieces getting the jack in there. The next stage of this adventure is coming up in a week when we try to set the instrument onto a steel table. I'll revisit the review at that time. For the moment I'll rate this a two. The specification didn't guarantee that the jack would fit a standard 40" pallet, but the extra vertical height caused avoidable problems. They should send an eight foot crow bar with each unit.

I needed a pallet jack to jack up and move a 600 lb. lime tree and planter. I needed one with clearance less than 3" and forks less than 23" wide. Not many jacks have these clearances. This one does the job. The paved surface is uneven but that did not bother this pallet jack. The pallet jack also works well lifting and moving standard pallets.
