Fill the body of the tub 2/3 full of water, ensuring to leave room so the tub doesn't overflow when you get in.
Add Ice
Adding a few bags of ice during summer will ensure the temperature is low enough. Ice won't have to be added during fall and winter.

We set this up in our backyard for doing hot-cold exposure from our sauna to the cold plunge. So far the first week I am really happy with it. Its seems like a good quality tub for a low price point. We just filled it up with hose water and it's stayed very cold. I'm 6'1'' 180lbs and I fit well in it. Its also an attractive looking tub. We will have to see how it holds up to constant use but so far I would recommend it.

the product is better than I expected, good quality, big enough for taller size male (I'm 6'0 with 185lbs)definitely recommend this product worth the money.
