I have an older Yamaha 18 “ sub and the speakon connector stopped working. The best quote I got to just look at it was $100. Since the 1/4 jack still worked.I brought these and just hooked them to the speakon cable I already had and have had no issues.

As others have noted (and I should have taken those reviews more seriously) the insulation is cut off too short. I would not even bother contacting the maker of these, considering the amount of care that went into making these cables, I can't lower my expectations enough to feel comfortable contacting their customer service.Edit: I repaired the cable. I wonder where I should send the invoice?

This cable came broken, from the seller. I'm not the only one to have this problem, they are cutting the insulation too short when they are assembling the cables. Great overseas quality control example, right here.... You get what you pay for.

Give 3 stars, connectors are great , cable quality is great, but who ever assembled need to leave a bit longer wire protection, if that happens 5 stars
