Paired with sticks and saddle. Go in light and hopefully come out heavy. XOP makes the nicest product's for build quality value for money. They can’t be beat. All of my tree hunting gear is XOP. First time using it and it was fantastic. The sticks, saddle and this platform all attached to a simple hunting pack. Making for a light weight system. Platform is sturdy and secure be sure to get a good cam and side shots shouldn’t be a problem. Some side shots are more difficult so a good strong cam of platform on proper diameter tree is fundamental. Really enjoy using this system.

The XOP Invader platform is a great platform for a saddle hunter looking to cut weight from the setup. Super stable and really cams into the tree. Highly recommend!

The rough base is likely great for traction but the post is sharp and it doesn’t set on the tree very sturdy. It kicked it on me several times, thankfully in the yard. I love xop stands but this thing needs work

The platform is very sturdy, and it looks like some flaws pointed out in other reviews are not present with mine.With that said, this platform had clearly been sent to someone else (with an Amazon label to a different state) and returned. As a bonus, whoever returned this added an XOP ultralight harness to the box. So I guess I came out ahead, with a free harness?I will keep this because it seems structurally sound, but I absolutely do not agree with reselling returned tree stand equipment without some kind of inspection (and some actual notice that it's second-hand). Considering there was an extra item in the box, this clearly wasn't opened by XOP or Amazon when it was returned.

Love the platform. Super sturdy, great build. I weight 178lbs and have had 0 issue setting this. I've only had it slip about 2 inches on me one time so far, but that was probably user error induced tbh as I didn't have any further issues throughout archery season. The teeth dig in super good. My ONLY complaint with this thing is that it KILLS your feet after about 2 hours in the stand. I mean.. I'm considering wrapping some damn foam around the thing to alleviate some of the pain on the bottom of my feet. Other than that I'd say it's 100% worth the money if you're looking for a good platform.
