I purchased this because I wanted something to dust the inside of my computer with. I was originally just going to purchase some air duster, but I figured I'd try something different and more permanent. I saw a video review of this unit and decided to buy this based on that. I was originally going to get a small air compressor, but decided this would be a better solution based on my needs. Here are my observations regarding this product:- Incredibly powerful. More than enough to dust out a computer. I think I'll find other uses for this product as time goes on, but right now I'm happy with what it can do.- I saw some reviewers mentioned noise was an issue. Yes, this thing is loud, but I never felt like I needed to turn it off or wear something over my ears to reduce the impact of the noise on me. I'd say the low setting is somewhere between the low and high setting of a typical hairdryer. The high setting sounds like it's a notch louder than a hair dryer on the highest setting. Again, I felt like the noise level was appropriate for how much air this thing was moving. I think an air compressor is just as loud, if not louder than the high setting on this particular unit when filling up with air. Plus, air compressors vibrate like crazy when running. I live in a townhome and have neighbors on both sides of me, one with a newborn baby. I felt way better using this than air compressor, that's for sure.- You can blow air with this thing at any angle you want. With the air duster you have to keep the can upright, otherwise it'll start blowing out that liquid that's in the can alongside the air coming out. I also like the fact that the air coming out of this isn't as focused as with a can of air duster or a typical compressor nozzle. Like I said earlier, this thing has some serious juice. You could probably do an adequate job cleaning out a computer just on the low setting. If you use the high setting be careful not to put the nozzle too close to any components, especially the ones on the motherboard (don't want to blow anything off!). Oh, and make sure you hold the fans securely so you don't send reverse current to the motherboard or graphics card and potentially fry them.- No chemicals involved. I'm definitely not what you would consider a climate activist, but clean, dry air is a lot better for both my computer and the environment. Oh, this thing also has a dust filter on the bottom to prevent the unit from recycling the dust blown around when you're cleaning stuff.I'm very happy with this thing. As long as it lasts and is a durable tool, it's definitely a 5-star product.

A powerful and strong duster that has worked for me! It will save you on the cost of canned air if you use that. It's more portable than an air compressor too.

Couldn’t believe how strong this item was when I finally had a chance to use it. I have tons of music gear and collectibles that are a breeze to keep up with. It has 2 speeds for delicate items like figurines and a high setting for cleaning in anything you would with an air duster. Several attachments and works so good we purchased a second. It’s definitely noticeable when it’s on but no louder than a vacuum. Small, easy to clean air filter on the bottom that slides out when you need to clean it . It will run for quite awhile but will get hot if you go a long period of time. Just keep the filter clean and make sure it’s off before you take it out.

I haven't bought a can of compressed air in years due to the high cost and the fact that they don't last long, but they do their job very well. I wanted a similar alternative for hard to clean spots that are more difficult to just wipe down and I started looking at electronic dusters. I pulled the plug on this one and I would say so far so good. The build quality feels nice enough and it has a surprising amount of power on either setting. Haven't had it for long so I can't speak to longevity. I've cleaned my computer, refrigerator coils, cylinder fans, etc. and it knocked a ton of dust off of all of them. It puts out a lot more air than any can I've ever used and covers a wider area.There are some negatives. It does get loud, particularly on the higher setting. I doubt this is something that could be remedied though, nothing that a pair of earplugs won't fix. As another user mentioned sometimes there will be a thin layer of caked on dust that it can't remove. Nothing substantial but it is probably the only other disadvantage it has to canned air (which has a much more concentrated blast). Other models I've seen have a narrower straw like attachment included that could possibly concentrate the blast a little more and it would have been nice if this model had it too.All in all I would say for me it's definitely useful and I'm glad I bought it. It's like having a little leaf blower for inside the house.

Ordered this model because I used one for years at an old job in an environment where similar ones often broke down, I know these are reliable and will likely last me for as long as I could ever possibly need it for. It’s abit bigger and heavier than other models on the market now but it blows air strong enough to make up for it. Great for dust and general debris removal.

Better consistent air blast/delivery … will not miss the frozen hands when using the canned duster varieties. This unit has so much power /not loud …along the lines of a hair dryer. The price is up there at first ….BUT if you think of it, you will never have to buy those canned dusters again—this unit will more than pay for itself after 3-4 cans of the other products—so convenient and so many uses. There is a rechargeable cordless unit, but i do not mind the cord ….Right now am cleaning my air purifiers ,,, the dust that accumulates in the machine/on the fan etc after the hepas and pre-cleaner filters … it is like getting a new purification unit—-I strongly recommend this super powerful duster!

I had to laugh that the review options include how well it sucks. This is not a vacuum. By complete coincidence, it does fit an attachment from my PC mini-vac pac I got a long time ago. This allows me to attach a smaller tube to this unit for higher pressure targeted blowing.It is a terrific replacement for canned air. MUCH better than my friend's cordless unit.Does it blow. You bet, including the leaves off my front porch and driveway. Cue the video of me with a leaf blower in one hand and this XPower in the other. A power tool and PC tool all in one. Makes me a happy man.
