I installed this on my 2008 VW Passat (B6, 2.0T) and it's worked very well. I recently purchased a set of the Auxbeam H7 LED lights, and they worked so well for my main headlights that I decided to upgrade my brights as well (since they're the same bulb.) For me, replacing the stock halogens with the LEDs didn't throw any kind of error for my main lights. When I went to do the LED swap on the brights, i'd get an error message on the MFD and the amber light bulb indicator on the dash (even though the LED brights would illuminate and work just fine). Turning on the brights for 5 seconds would turn off the amber light, but that would get annoying to do every time I started the car.With this module (I only installed on my brights) I no longer get an error light, and the brief flickering I would sometimes see at startup is also gone. There was also enough space in the headlight housing to hold this module, so all of the wiring and the module is safely inside but still accessible with the rubber cap.

Wanted to replace my 9005 halogen bulbs with LEDs on 2012 Lexus RX 350. When I turned on my car, I didn’t get any warnings, but the LED’s flickered rapidly. Figured it was the difference in voltage, since LEDs require less power. After some google searches I figured I need one of these, and this one had the best review. So I ordered it, and after an easy installation the flickering went away. Seemed like a good solid construction, thick harnesses, etc. hoping they’ll last. While I can’t speak to longevity just yet, it did solve the flickering problem and seems like a good buy!

My new LED headlights would blink a few times and shut off. I just spent $345 on new lights from Pro Tuning Lab, who modified Spyder lights by adding an “LED kit†, but didn’t bother to mention that there’s a pretty good chance that they probably wouldn’t work without adding a harness like this. I’m not mad at them, but it is a little annoying that I had to drive with my high beams for a month. The least they could have done is mention somewhere in the description that they recommend adding a harness with the purchase, and I would have bought one. Clearly I’m not the first person to have this issue, so they could save their customers a little time, trouble, and money if they chose to. Spoiler alert...they don’t. Anyway, this harness installed easily and fixed the problem, so I’m very happy with this product, and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another one if the need were to arise. I can’t speak for other vehicle’s, but for my 2006 Ram, it worked like a charm.

I purchased a set of Beamtech light bulbs (9005) to install them on a 2008 Lexus RX350 as DRL (driving lights). To make the story short, the Beamtech light bulbs did not work as specified on Amazon's page (Plug N Play and chip conversion), so I was suppose to remove the old light bulbs, install the new ones, and be done, NOPE, so I went back to Amazon to look for a decoder, why? Because the Lexus and some other cars will ONLY send 6v power to run DRL, hence the LEDs WILL NOT turn on when the car sends only 6 volts (in DRL mode)What the decoder is suppose to do, is talk to the computer and bypass that information so the DRL light bulbs will receive the proper voltage to turn on, well, these Xprite LED Anti-Flicker Harness Canbus Headlight Bulbs Flickering Resistor Decoder Error Free Conversion DO NOT WORK, so at least don't waste your time and money.If you need a decoder to work for your car after you purchase DRL light bulbs and they do not work as specified, go to ijdmtoy website, type decoder on the search bar, and find the correct daytime running light decoder for your car. It is the ONLY decoder that worked for the 2008 Lexus RX350.Before I forget, customer service is HORRIBLE. I send them a message that their decoders were not working, and they didn't even reply, SMH.

I have a 2015 ram, I decided the original headlights were too dark and I needed to replace them with something brighter. I purchased projector headlight assemblies and led lights and installed them. I was very happy with everything until the headlights themselves started shutting off and turning back on or they would shut off and not turn back on, unless I shut the truck off and turned it back on. So I found these and they were a absolutely perfect for what I needed, as soon as I installed them the headlights started working perfectly and I haven’t had a single problem since and this was 5 months ago. I also work at night so I use my headlights every day. Hope this information is useful.

All 4 LED resistors work great, but needed slight modification to work in my headlights. Both the plugs and the resistor housings needed cut down a little. I used tin snips to cut the lid so the resistor would go past the headlight reflector and the plug stain relief was way too long and needed cut way back to expose more flexible cord wire so I could turn the H11 bulb with the resistors' plug plugged in.I would like to know what the stuff is that surrounds the resistor and capacitor in the resistor box. It looks like the same stuff used in ignition coil packs. I had to cut the resistor box away and found there's exposed contacts that could short circuit.

Installed on a 2007 Camry Hybrid to try to reduce flicker in DRL's. They did reduce flicker very slightly. But not to any acceptable level. Where they get the one star rating is that on removal I now have no DRL's at all. Thankfully the lights still function when turned on. Update to loss of DRL's. After a number of starts and stops the DRL's did come back on.

I wish I knew I required these when I bought the lights. or at least this should show up as a suggested purchase when purchasing the lights. They solved my problem so they get 5 stars but when buying LED lights for your vehicle it would be nice to know this is likely required

Though expensive, so far, I am very happy with these decoders. They resolved the DRL error message I was getting on my 2010 Acura MDX. I tried another brand of decoder first but they didn't work. My only issue with these decoders was, due to the connectors both coming out of the same end and/or the short length of the wires, it was difficult to mount the decoders in an out-of-the-way spot. Otherwise, shipping was fast and they worked as advertised.
