I love that this SMB has a pouch for the spool attached with it. To send it, I open up the bottom, stick in my 2nd stage regulator and let as much air flow in before it starts to pull me up with it. Then I let it unspool on my finger to the surface. I decrease buoyancy just before I send it. It’s perfect. It’s super sturdy and it dries quickly and it’s easy to get out the water from the inside by unscrewing the over pressure valve. I bought 2 of these things. They’re the best for me, a recreational diver.

This is a great SMB! I love that the spool is integrated, which saves fiddling when deploying. It also ensures the two items will never be separated. There are 3 inflating options--oral, BC LP hose, and from the bottom with either an alternate air source or, if you can manage it, exhaust bubbles from your primary. I like inflating with my LP hose and letting it fly. There's a reflective strip on the top as well as a plastic D-ring for a light. It's big, which means it's visible on the surface, but that also means it's bulky underwater. I still won't dive without it.

This all in one surface marker buoy makes a very good, somewhat compact package in satisfying and essential scuba diving need. Simply unclip it from your D-ring and inflate it with your 2nd stage while holding the finger spool with your other hand. Nice and tidy.

This is my first dsmb. I purchased based on reviews here and it did not disappoint.I used it last week with a DM and it was easy to fill with my second stage octopus and easy to deploy as the reel is attached. Reminder to let the reel go so the dsmb doesn’t mess with your buoyancy.

Did it's job! The boat found me every time I sent this up. The length on the reel was nice and the little pocket the reel goes in is also a nice feature.

Just got back from a dive trip in Cozumel. All dives I did were drift. I used this buoy multiple times with no issues. Well made of high grade materials and the ease of use is incredible.

I bought the flourescent yellow sausage and added a few more pieces of flourescent tape to make it even more visible at night. The attached reel makes it easy to deploy from depth. I tied a loop at 15 feet to fasten with a snap hook to my BCD for an easy safety stop.
