These are simple and work as intended. I always keep 2 on my upper tank belt to balance weight, and 2 extras on hand in case I lose a waist belt slide.

I bought two of these guys in order to utilize my sea pearls soft weights while free diving instead of having to go buy more weight for a weight belt. They fit well on a standard weight belt; however, the velcro enclosures after diving over a few days give out. If using soft weight, be sure not to use anything over three pounds, I tried using up to five which it says it is rated for but as soon as you flip down to dive or invert your body in any way, the velcro pops open and there goes $20 dollars worth of weight to the bottom. In one trip, these guys lost me about $100 dollars worth of weight I needed to replace. For scuba, I have no doubt that for applications they are great. Freedivers, go ahead and buy the hard weights and save your money on these. I shouldn't have cut corners.

Work great, I've got an old BCD that doesn't have integral weights so these pocket help take a bunch of weight off my belt and really save my back.

I came out of a 100 ft deep dive, and by luck, just when I went into the boat, BOTH of them fell into the floor after I took a few steps. I hadn't even took my BCD off yet.Issue:The velcro that attaches to your waist belt (using a Hollis ST22) IS really small. And loses its grip. These are rated for 10 pounds and I only used 4 on each so it's not that. It's a design flaw.I had to sew them using a thick thread so it would hold and then install them.Take in mind if using these for deep dives. If that would have happened when I was at 100 feet and 20 minutes from the shore, I would probably not be here writing this. as I would have go up so quick that I would have suffer decompression sickness.

This tank pouch is well worth the price. The velcro attachment makes it easy to attach and remove. The pouch allows you to add up to 5lbs.

The velcro on these comes lose easily. They work fine on a tank band where the tension holds them on but they don't work well for a waist belt or harness strap in my opinion.
