This is our 2nd attempt to install durable gym flooring. The first purchase was from Home Depot and unfortunately the product was not very durable. Rips appeared not long after install. This time we purchased XSPEC based off of a recommendation and so far it seems to be much more durable (rubber layer over the foam base). Looks very clean and was easy to install.

I tried some cheaper options first because this seemed expensive, but truly nothing else came close. I have a peloton treadmill that weighs as much as a few elephants and it needed something sturdy to sit on - I haven’t had any issues with it, even with changing the incline frequently. Worth every penny

We used this flooring for our DIY playroom and so far we love it! It’s nice and soft under your feet and thick enough falls don’t hurt 😄

Works perfectly. Easy to assemble.Edge pieces are great but pull loose easily with minimal contact. I will use black tape or duct tape to secure these edge strips.

1. These are thick, quality mats. They seem identical to the type that you find in fitness gyms. 2. They hold our 300+lb treadmill with no ripping or obvious dents. 3. They fit together easily and provide a nice, finished look for your home gym. 4. They are so much more comfortable and durable than the typical home "play mat" style of foam tiles. Truly, not even comparable. We purchased one pack of these for the treadmill (because of the expense) and instead filled the other 3/4s of the excercise space in our gym with the cheaper EVA foam tiles. The difference between the two types of mats is laughable. The Xspec mats are amazing, the others... not so much. Will be buying more as we can afford them.

Purchased these for my home gym and laid them down and they were very easy to work with. The foam plus rubber top gives it a strong, but comfortable feel. I ended up needing to return them because I was worried that my cat was going to use these as a scratching pad and had to go with fully rubber tiles. These may be ok even with a cat, but I didn’t want to chance it and then not be able to return. The company handled the return and worked with me on the return shipping because the cost of returning these with my own shipping choice was crazy. They ended up sending me labels with their own shipping price.I would recommend these.

I've had these mats for 4 months.Pros: I love the dual-layers with the hard rubber on top and the squishy rubber layer on the bottom. I laid these mats in my home gym / guest bedroom. I'm able to disassemble the mats when I have guests staying with us and then reassemble for my gym.Cons: the rubber smells strongly for the first several weeks, then has a light smell that hasn't gone away. Like other reviewers, my mats have begun to de-laminate. I've been super gluing the de-laminated layers and I hope that works keeps them together.

I needed some padding for my yoga swing, and this padding was a perfect addition… We glued it to the cement slab and it’s been holding up nicely
