I’ve had many pairs of Xtratuf deck boots including the regular ones, the leather ones the arctic ones and these ones. The wheelhouse line is the most comfortable and durable and I think they look the best. I am on my third pair and I wear them every day. They are so comfortable and convenient. I slip them on, hands free, whenever I need to leave my house and I don’t have to worry about the conditions outside because they are fully water proof. However, they are not good for deep snow or water over 6 inches and if you are wearing shorts in the rain or splashing in puddles, water can get in the top because they are not a tight fit around the ankles. That being said, if they do get wet inside, they dry out very quickly. Just remove the soles and blow a fan on them and they should be dry in an hour or so. Another plus is that they are easy to clean when they get dirty.My only complaints is that they run just a little large and they don’t have half sizes. They are also not as durable as leather boots and cannot be resoled so once they wear out, they’re done. Expect to get about 6 months out of them if you do heavy work in them, about a year if you wear them casually on an almost daily basis, and probably a few years if you only wear them on occasion.

I usually don't write reviews, but I was really impressed with the seller and the product. First off, LFS marine was incredible. I originally ordered the performance boots, but decided that I wanted the Wheelhouse instead. They responded fast by email and cancelled the order, so I could order the Wheelhouse boots. Great customer service!The Boots!I have worn them for a couple days now and I am super impressed. Sizing is pretty standard. I usually wear a 13 in tennis shoes. I ordered a 13 in these and they are a touch big so I am going to add some inserts on the factory insoles and they will fit great. I think the 12s would have probably been too small. It is a nice wide boot with tons of room. They are very sturdy and seem to made really well. I was nervous about the performance boots since I usually wear through the soles by the heel. These boots have a thick sole, but are incredibly light. I will be wearing these boots around the house, yard, and boat all the time now since they are so comfortable.I will try to update in the next couple months to let you know how they are holding up!

They showed up a day early! these were we’re pretty true to size, maybe a tiny big. They seem very comfortable and easy to slip on and off. We’ll see how the last agains everyday use!!

This brand of boot was the best. I used them for many years in Alaska. But I bought these deckhand boots recently. They are complete junk. They are nothing but a cheap $20 pair of imported boots from Walmart made in China. Do not buy them. At the end of 2 months the entire sole came off of one boot. I owned these for 2 weeks when I started noticing a small separation of the seam in the other boot. Garbage.I have not sent them back. I work out of town. It’s not easy and why would I want another pair from a company that spends our money overseas? For horrible craftsmanship.
