We could have gotten (2) bags or (10) pounds of foam, but the 5 works well. It is comfortable and reasonably priced. My daughter (11) was able to do it on her own, with minimal clean-up,

My dog’s bed got really flat about a month after purchase, so I thought I’d try this out to give it more oomph. It’s great! The pillow is 32x21 inches, and I bought the 5lb bag of foam. It comes in a compressed sheet. It gets much fuller than I expected, and it filled the box it came in plus a full garbage bag as it expanded and settled (picture). I used the full box of foam and about 1/3 of the garbage bag. There was a slight “rubber†smell, but it wasn’t terrible and mostly went away after letting the foam rest overnight. The bed is so much fluffier and more comfortable now. My dog loves it. (She just lies on beds weird so that’s why she’s on the grey rim and not just the pillow itself.) She likes to burrow and move the pillow about to get comfy, and she’s still able to do that with the fuller pillow.

This seems to be byproduct of some thing else, so the price is a bit steep if you ask me. I order 5bls and it was not enough to fill my pillows, so I order 10lbs, and they were different colors and size of foam, which leads me to the byproduct thought. However, the pillows are soft and full and bounce back to shape like memory foam should. It took 5lbs to fill 3, 18x18" pillow nicely but 6lbs to fill them out fully. 15lbs got me 7 pillows completely filled out, with some left over.

I have a loveseat that the zipper on the bottom opens pretty easily, and when my cat was a kitten and dog a pup they would tear the stuffing out. This plumped everything back up and made it useable and comfortable again

So, I wanted my son's reading chair/bean bag chair more comfortable. Over time the polystyrene beans compress. Now I could have spent $40 and gotten one bag of polystyrene beads and it would have solved the problem and fluffed it enough that it wouldn't be so hard for me to get up from the chair. Instead I thought I would be a good idea to replace with memory foam for more comfort.Getting the polystyrene beads out was a stupid crazy idea and made the biggest mess. went through 4 vaccuum cleaner bags sucking up all the ones that fell out.Anyway, purchased 20 pounds of memory foam for about $120. it's all in the bean bag and my butt is still hitting the floor when I sit. I have another 20 pounds waiting to add to it. but I think it's going to need 40 more, and maybe even more still so I don't just sink to the floor. I need comfort AND support. So with enough foam this could be awesome. but you've really gotta get your hands in there and shove it into all the nooks and crannies. a little mess but not as bad as polystyrene. NOW, the problem is, this chair is HEAVY. I figure by the time I'm done there very well could be 80 pounds of memory foam in this thing. If I could change my mind I'd just deal w/ the polystyrene. Or make a mix of polystyrene and memory foam.So I'm going to need to order at least another 20-40 pounds of this stuff. And while comfortable, it's just been a way too expensive project. I fee like I could have bought another chair at this point.

Item arrived promptly and packaged very well, just as described and with instructions. After bag was removed from box I let some air into the bag but I will admit I didn't follow instructions stating to pour into trash bag to let it air out for 30 min since I read reviews warning of messiness I avoided that step. I had hubs hold the bag while I placed the open end inside the bean bag and let it spill inside and fluffed with my hand and zipped it back up. After about 30 min the bag seemed to be soft and fuller. I was using this to fluff up my kids bean bags so I purchased 2 of the 5 lbs. They still had the original white bean bag styrofoam beads inside, I purchased the bean bags from target and noticed they where loosing their shape. Tom fill them up completely will need 10 lbs. There was no mess and there's no smell to this and it's really memory foam shredded.

I would NOT order it again. I purchased it for some heart shaped pillows that I’ve crocheted and I’m finding that I have to go through it piece-by-piece. Some have harder backings on it that I end up cutting off. It’s not like I can just grab a handful and I trust the softness of it. I find some soft blue pieces that I think are really nice, but they are rare in this package. Some has yellow stains on it. Some have a tape like backing on it. Very disappointed. I’m going to look to see what else is available, because this isn’t it.

I found it didn't fluff up as much as I was expecting and there were some pieces that were kind of hard in it.There wasn't enough to fill the bean bag so i ordered more from another company and it was fluffier and softer foam.

I wanted to fill up my Adult Size Bean Bag. 100 bucks later and its still flat. I would need to purchase 3 more in order to fill my bean bag. Disappointed.
