This bowl checks all the boxes of what I've been looking for in a dry food cat bowl: It's attractive, it's made of ceramic, it's elevated, it's tilted, it's big enough for 2 kitties to use (although I have a 2nd bowl as well), it has a slow feeder fish bone design on the inside that provides just the right amount of depth to slow down eating but not make it too difficult for one of my kitties who is flat-faced.I have looked at and tried out LOTS OF cat bowls before finding this one, and I have to say that this one has become my favorite. One of my kitties has a tendency to gobble her food too quickly and regurgitate, and the other one has a tendency to over eat - so the slow feeder feature of this bowl helps with both these issues. Also, I read that bowls should be elevated at least 4 inches to provide the associated digestive benefits, and many bowls that are being sold as elevated are not that high. Also, IMO, bowls that are elevated without also being tilted make it a little too challenging to eat. In addition, plastic bowls give one of my cats chin acne so I have switched over to ceramic.I think that this bowl is priced very reasonably. And last but not least, both my kitties started using it immediately, and so it has their two paws up seal of approval!

My cat is a fatty. We don't free feed her and feed her portioned meals 3 times a day (can't do once a day because one big meal, no matter how slow, will still cause her to vomit), two of then wet food, one of them dry food. For the wet food we've been able to just smush it and spread it out in her bowl so we don't have too much vomit issues. But it's the dry food we had trouble with. We can't smush the dry food, so in a bowl she would just hoover it right up, then 5 minutes later we hear the dreaded heaving sound.Previous to this bowl, we've tried 2 or 3 other bowls. One of the bowls had a big raised paw print design in the bowl to help separate her dry food to slow her eating. It ended up being too deep for her to even care to bother trying to eat from, which lead to her abandoning it, and going after our other cat's bowls. We tried another bowl that is moreso like a 1"-2" tall, maybe 10" wide plate that had small raised fish designs all over to force her to maneuver through the plate to get her food. We have the the plate set down on a 2 inch riser (baking pan with anti-ant/ant sub legs) for her to eat from. She still would vomit fairly often. Why did this one work? It was goldilocks! Juuuuust right. It wasn't deep, it had the raised fish bone design to slow the eating, and lastly it was tall and had a great angle! We figured that with the plate, she was bending at an angle that still caused her to vomit. Happy to report that she now only vomits when she successfully steals her siblings food lol (which we are working on; and NO SureFeed is not the end all solution because cats can still squeeze in once the correct chipped cat triggers the door opening)

This feeder stands taller (over 4”) and has a tilt for comfortable eating. My tallest cat loves it. My shorter cats prefer a shorter alternative Upside: attractive and effective Downside: too shallow to hold much. Great for 1 cat, not 4. Also: I’d prefer this design with a stainless insert for easy cleaning—-rather than carrying the entire unit. Ceramics break too easilyFish design is cute, but hard to clean

This is exactly what I've been looking for! I've been plagued with the constant threat of cat barf on my carpet for a while, as with a senior cat AND a cat with a very sensitive tummy, scarf and barfing is just a factor of life.Ever since I purchased this and put it to use however, I haven't had a single incident all month! The slow feeding shape forces them to pace themselves, the elevation of it helps them feel more comfortable as they eat, which also aids in them pacing themselves. The shallow bowl also helps with issues of whisker fatigue.I also love that the bowl is ceramic instead of plastic, so I can feel assured that when I clean it, its CLEAN, while also just looking nice. It also has some nice weight to it, so i can feel assured that my hyperactive cat cant throw it around. It doesn't have any rubber stoppers on it to prevent sliding however, so I would recommend purchasing some, or just putting it on a pet place mat like I have.

This slow feeder was just what I needed for Link, one of my cats. He eats too fast, which then makes him sick, but the previous slow feeder we bought him was just no good for wet food. This one looks lovely, is easy to clean and is also great for wet and dry food. Link not only does not throw up after eating but also does not strain his neck whilst trying to get at his food. Brilliant.

El empaque está mas que seguro para un producto bastante pesado y de excelente calidad. Compré un par y cumple con el cometido para que mis gatos coman mas despacio y ademas están increíbles. Valen cada peso.
