This is my first at home barbell. Can't beat the price. You can tell that it's not the most high-end of barbells. I gave it a go after I put it together. I understand what people are talking about where the star screws won't hold. However they leave 2 of those rubber washer things in the box. I put those on before screwing the stars on and everything has remained nice and firm. The other issue, that is driving me kind of crazy, is mine has this odd oily film on the bar. I tried wiping it off, which helped a little but it's still there. If something like that is going to mess with you, I suggest having gloves on hand. That's assuming yours has that same oily feeling. Lastly the screw that holds it together in the center still allows just a bit of wobble. Once lifted, though, it feels sturdy. It stands to see if it will pass the test of time. For now, as someone who's a beginner and has been for a while now, this will do to help me go beyond, plus ultra.

The product is great but the post description is misleading paid for 66LBS plates but received 55LBS. Reached out to seller and was informed “ The total weight of the plates are 55lbs and the remaining weight is of the curl bar and 2 x Star Lock Collar.†Otherwise great product & easy to assemble!

Don’t get me wrong. It’s not professional stuff but it’s definitely good for a beginner. I’m trying to get an old injury fixed and it’s doing its job. I’m almost there ever since I got this product. It’s very easy to put together. Very easy to use doesn’t come with a lot of weight, but You could probably add to it I guess

These are great. Perfect for first time purchase for home gym. The bar went together easily and the weights are a nice rubbery plastic. The weights did have an odd oil coating. Would suggest a wash. Overall great product and pleased.
