This is the only bit that I’ve used that isn’t a Whiteside bit and I know people like to bash the generic bits, but honestly this thing has done everything I’ve asked of it in my new tower speaker build and hasn’t given me a lick of trouble. I’ve used it to cut out the inset for the large horn and also for the 15†woofer and it does the job.

I used this for the first time yesterday and I can say it is Sharpe and works smoothly. I really like the 1/4 inch depth of the blade. Ideal for Grove making for joints and such.

Used this for mortising existing door jambs to hang new double doors. Bearing is smooth cutter is sharp. Cannot be beaten at twice the price , very satisfied. Ordered on a Sunday arrived the next day.

This bit has been working well for me. I’m using it to make recesses for nail plates in interior studs.
