I needed something to be able to mount my Dewhel gear shift knob to my Thrustmaster TH8A shifter and this did the trick. The boot retainers increase the width of the stick so it better fits the circumference of the gear stick connector. I actually only needed the boot retainers but decided the use the gear stick connector as well because I like it better than the black one that came with the knob. It also has more screw holes to connect to the gear shift stick.

This said compatible with 2008 hhr its not 2 stars cause quality is good but had to return does not fit hhr automatic

I didn’t research this enough previous to purchasing for my manual 2010 Jeep Wrangler and unfortunately it was too small. Just a heads up, the internal measurement needs to be 16mm or 5/8â€.

Got the boot, adapter and shift knob all together and it was worth the money! Super easy install on everything. The boot was easy to cut to size and super glue in place. The adapter was super easy with 6 screws for that secure fit. The shift knob feels so good in my hands compared to the cheap auto parts store one that came with the car.

Was missing 2 of the 6 screws the plastic sleeves were too big to actually fit inside the part. Had to make do with old parts and drill into the stick itself to make this work. It’ll be a temporary fix until I can get part elsewhere. Disappointed.
