The crystal clear tone and beautiful gathering sound are rich in volume. The sound range is wide and can be used in a variety of ways, from low to high school. The new playing pipe has a pipe clip (patent pending) that holds the pipe. It is very convenient when you play it in your hand or waiting for a tabletop. The new design of the hard case has space for the name stickers on the back and sides, so it is very convenient when you put it in a locker. The hard case has a new shape that is gentle on the image. The handle has been improved to make it easy for little hands to hold. Made with a seamless sponge rubber frame gasket and plate gasket made of tissue paper to prevent breath leakage.

I'm good at playing anything that uses piano keys, like pianos, keyboards, and organs, but I can't play anything using a harmonica except for the default chord heard when blowing into it, so I stuck to using my keyboard for years. However, I found out about the melodica in "Your Lie in April". Seeing a instrument played by blowing into it and pushing piano keys seemed right up my alley, so I bought the Yamaha Pianica P-32E to try it out myself. (This isn't the exact melodica the anime used. If you want that, get the blue P-32D.)Yes, these are for children and teenagers in Japanese schools, so the Pianica P-32 series only comes in light, toy-like blue and pink colors, but to me, I like the blue color Yamaha used on the Pianica and find it cute. Anyone that wants a more "serious-looking" melodica may wantFirst, let's start with the good things:• The P-32E, like other melodicas, comes in a carrying case, which gives it protection. I like how every part has a place for it inside the case.• The small mouthpiece can be inserted at basically any angle and fits in my mouth nicely.• The Pianica itself is a nice size, as I can reach all keys and my large fingers fit on each piano key fine. The handle seems a bit tight on my hand when four of my fingers go through it, but if I avoid using my pinky finger like Kaori from the anime, it feels better.• The Pianica is easy to play. Since I play things that use piano keys already, all I have to remember is to manage my blowing speed while pushing keys. It has a nice, harmonica-like sound and seems to have a good range of notes. I just have to look out for notes that strangely require more air to sound, like the lowest G note on my P-32E.Now, as for bad things, I haven't encountered it yet, but according to something I read online, Pianicas get detuned easier than non-Yamaha melodicas. My Pianica P-32E came seemingly perfectly tuned, but I'm now paranoid of it eventually going out of tune, since I have doubts about being able to tune it correctly when that time comes.I recommend the Yamaha Pianica P-32E for anyone wanting to try playing a melodica but don't want cheap alternatives. Also, I recommend it for anyone who can't play a harmonica but want something similar.

I have played melodicas since 1983 & The Yamaha Pianica has always been one of my favorites. It is louder than most with very low click noises.I would advise starting with a Pianica model and get a more expensive Suzuki later if you like playing this type of instrument. I'm very happy with this purchase.
