The unit assembled easily. The assembly instructions were less than stellar but not completely useless - and pretty much unnecessary in the first place. The unit seems stable, but I'm unable to guess really at its sturdiness... but I'm guessing it won't be bad since it seems stable. I'm supporting a Yamaha 61-key unit an fits well. It seems to stay in place. It certainly adjusts easily.

The price was fine and the stand is perfect for my long keyboard. It is sturdy and I am not worried about dropping my keyboard.

Assembly was pretty straight forward. All of the things you need come in the package. It took a while for me to realize that the "screw driver" was the little '7' looking thing and you literally just line up the holes and screw it in. The long bars on the bottom and short bars on top. It was a bit lopsided at first but you just need to line it up right.It's a sturdy stand but you just place the keyboard on top of the stand so if you accidentally bump into it, yes you will knock off the keyboard. It does the job fine if you just need a place to place the keyboard and won't be having a lot of movement near it.Oh and forgot to add that one of the hex screws I received came in damaged. I was told to contact Amazon and they offered to exchange the entire product or offer compensation for me to purchase my own hex screw. I didn't want to unnecessantly replace the entire product for just a screw so I chose the latter option. I was told the payment would apply towards an Amazon prime product but have yet to see it..

I read the reviews here and was hesitant to buy this. But no parts or bolts were missing. For those who may not be aware, the bolts are lightly screwed into the tops of the legs and arms. Unscrew them and use them to put on the arms and legs. Assembly took about 10 minutes. The instructions could be better but then I didn't really need them. A picture of the assembled stand was enough. The unit is sturdy and holds a full size keyboard. It also folds neatly and fits in the keyboard bag.

I bought this because I don't need anything heavy duty, and because it is supposedly a Yamaha product, which is usually fairly good quality. I haven't found any Yamaha labeling on it, but I am pleased with it's quality. It holds my keyboard with no problem and it's height adjustment works well. The two bars the keyboard sits on have a back stop piece, which is fine. However, it's not adjustable. The lower you adjust the stand the less relevance the back stops have, as they are locked in place. They should be made so that they can be turned to their most effective height regardless of the stand's adjustment.
