I don’t leave too many reviews but I had to for this awesome little tool. I LOVE this thing! It was exactly what I needed for my chicken coop. It has a long grip and is so durable and functional. It would be great for cat litter boxes as well…without bending!

I really liked using a long scooper instead of having to bend down more with a normal scooper. An issue I had with this one that I did not have with my smaller metal scooper is that clumps would stick to it really badly, so I’d have to scrape off the clumps often or else they’d just be covered in clay.This one lasted me almost a full year before the scoop snapped off of the handle attachment. I was shocked, but I was also just told that I tend to scoop pretty forcefully (massive piles that I struggle to lift), so maybe it was user error. I’m not sure how long this is supposed to last but I just didn’t think it’d break like that. Something to be aware of! My other scooper, which has a normal small handle, is still in great condition.

I purchased this for my mother who recently had hip replacement surgery and was not able to bend. This made it easy for her to clean out the litter box.

I use pelletized bedding in my chicken coop. This helps me scoop the coop without having to bend over. A rake's tines are too spread out, this ensures I can sift the bedding out and just throw the poop out. It works great!

Bought 2. I have to hold one of them at the lower handle otherwise it comes apart and that completely defeats the purpose of having a standing scoop. They are just a tad short that I find myself stooping to get the pee patties stuck to the box. I’m 5’6†I don’t want to, but I might buy another simply because it’s metal and more sanitary than the plastic ones I had

Love the pan and brush set I’ve just got over a hip replacement. So helpful as not allowed to bend. Like the idea of the teeth to hold the brush in place when not using !

This is a very sturdy product. I bought it because I can’t bend over very much and it works very well. It goes together easy and it’s heavy duty.
