I am absolutely in love with Yankee Candle Votives! These little gems pack a powerful punch of fragrance that fills my home with a delightful scent that lasts for hours. The variety of scents available is impressive, and each one I've tried has been nothing short of amazing. The votives are long-lasting and burn evenly, making them a fantastic value for the price. I'm very pleased with this order. There was a good assortment (Kitchen Spice, Sparkling Cinnamon, Red Apple Wreath, Vanilla Lime, Strawberry Buttercream, Summer Scoop, Summer Wish, Sweet Strawberry, Tulips, and True Rose). The aroma is already noticeable in the room and they haven't even been unwrapped or lit yet. I've tried other scented candles with mixed results. Yankee Candles are a bit pricier, but well worth it as they are by far the best out there. You get what you pay for.Outside of a couple of people who received duplicate scents (a legitimate complaint, IMO), it seems most of the negative comments have to do with two things: The assortment seems to be "out of season" and they're too small. First, at least in my case, the assortment was a good mix of seasons, along with some that were not "seasonal" at all. You can't reasonably expect the shippers to contemplate what each buyer might prefer - it's called a grab bag for a reason. And I've yet to hear anyone complain about the actual smell.As far as size is concerned, they're clearly called votives. They're votive sized. This is just a matter of reading before you buy. These will make a room smell fantastic, regardless of size, and it's a great way of testing out scents before buying a big candle. I'd absolutely recommend these to anyone.

Yankee candles always are the best and smell so good. My surprise when I got these for my son here at home (luckily) was that they don't come in some kind of cardboard set up like this picture shows. This would have been kind of embarrassing if I had sent them as a gift to someone in a different home as I thought the 'look' would be at least 'something' real similar to the picture of them all stacked up so you can see them. I got a small baggie like package with all the little votives where he has to rifle through to see what he got. I'm sure they all will smell good, that wasn't what surprised me. For now on, I'll buy Yankee candles at a store where I can look at the packaging. I've heard people complain about packaging before & thought that was something that the person had to just be looking for something to be wrong. Now I see, because if I sent this to my Aunt or Mom I would have thought that they were packaged a with a little more thought than this. Yankee candles packaging aren't put together in China are they? lol. Other than the packaging, Yankee candles smell excellent. Good thing I got these for my son because he won't care about the packaging.

I ordered two sets of these (20 votives total) and they just sent me doubles of all of the scents. A little disappointing. Was expecting the two orders to be different.

Other than the negative reviews about receiving old candles…. I really don’t get the other bad reviews. I received 10 really nice, new (fresh) votive candles. Which is exactly what was being sold and as described.The wrapping was easy enough to remove using just a small kitchen knife slid underneath the shrink wrap and easily peeled back with no damage to the candles. The packaging was fine (the description clearly states it’s a grab bag, not packaged for gifting, etc…). The assorted mix of scents I received was very, very nice including a lemon scent, a sage, midsummer night, home sweet home, beach, sand and sun, lavender tangerine, etc… so definitely an assortment with no two scents being the same. I thought all of the scents I received were nice but had I received one I didn’t care for I could have easily given to someone who cared for it. All in all a fun grab bag to buy for your home or to purchase to split up to use in multiple gift packs.I purchased to fill a few votive candle holders I have around the house but… I was out of candles to stock them with. I would not hesitate to buy again and will probably be ordering again to split apart the grab bag candles and place in gift bags/packs this Christmas.

I have purchased several bags of these candles, as I enjoy burning a candle a day. Each candle lasts about a day from early morning to late night, if they are continually burned. They light easily and fit well in my little candle holder. I enjoy the fragrance from most, which wafts through the entire house. There is a great variety of fragrances, and no two are alike in any one package, although having ordered multiple packages, I have received some of the same fragrances. There is a good mix of all four season fragrances in each bag. None have been damaged and all come wrapped in cellophane with a clear label of the fragrance. I am addicted to these small votive candles from Yankee Candle and will continue to purchase more as my supply dwindles.

I got these as stocking fillers and love them. Bought the random grab bag and it was a great selection: a couple yankee candle classics with some food scents and Christmas scents too.note that they are small (see photo for size ref) so you decide if it's worth it. personally i prefer gifting these votives as it's no big loss if someone gets a scent they don't like.

These came exactly as shown not sure what the negative reviews are about.. I've only burned one but it burned for about 4 hours and it had a decent scent I got 10 different kinds no duplicates considering they cost about 2 bucks each how can you complain? Derp
