This yarn winder is very easy to use and you could even do it one handed if you were unable to use both hands.It is kind of easy for the yarn to get tangled up once it gets to a certain size (usually past the little base that it’s being wound up on) so if you want to do larger balls of yarn pay attention otherwise you’ll spend more time untangling the yarn then it took to create the tangle. Usually the easiest way to undo the tangle without cutting it is to remove the piece that holds the ball of yarn and then I can remove the yarn by winding it through the gears sort of when it gets tangled. It’s tedious but I haven’t had to cut any yarn yet.I totally forgot about all the accessories that it comes with so that was a pleasant bonus, I love the little scissors especially, they’re very handy.Giving it 5 stars because the tangled are user error not the yarn winder’s fault.

Pops off table everytime I used it. Yarn wouldn't wind good.To me I just didn't like it at all

I love my yarn winder I can take it any were and it is sturdy. You can do at your own speed as fast or slow.

My only complaint would be it’s a smaller capacity but otherwise works !

Easy to use, wound some laceweight yarn off the cone in a couple minutes. Tie off the end of the lightweight yarn to the spindle base otherwise the end can’t be found when you remove the ball of yarn from the spindle! Wish the spindle was a smaller diameter but it appears to be a “standard†size. Very useful for creating center-pull balls out of a 1800-yard cone of yarn

I bought this product to help organize my ever-so-messy yarn stash. When it came in and I first started assembling it, I noticed the support rod was loose and would not lock in place. Whenever I started winding up yarn, it would be pushed back in and then just fall over. I found a work-around and held the rod out with my thumb while I wound up yarn. But after making about 10 small cakes or so, it began to make a horrible squeaking sound with the rotating of the handle. When reading the reviews, I thought to myself the squeaking that some mentioned couldn't be so bad. But after experiencing it myself, it is actually unbearable. I am sad to say that I will have to return it. Though I will give credit where it's due; for the short period of time it worked, it made beautiful tight cakes. I was able to get a small portion of my stash organized.

It doesn’t work properly, I can’t weave my yarn in correctly , I have to hold it for it to work, I’ve purchased plenty of these types of winders and this is the first time I’ve had an issue.

Ich bin total zufrieden. Es funktioniert wie es soll und ist auch recht stabil. Ich weis nur nicht ob ich es erneut kaufen würde, da ich es schon bisschen teuer finde. Aber man findet es auch nicht billiger als hier. Es ist gut, wenn man die Wolle in Regale oder so einräumen will oder große Wollknäul hat und nur einen Teil mitnehmen will z.B. für unterwegs. Knäule liegen auch super und rollen nicht mehr.Als kleiner Tipp für evtl. gesehene Hacks:Wenn man z.B. eine Klopapierrolle drüber legt, weil man z.B. den Hack gesehen hat, Wolle darauf zu rollen und dann über eine Tunesische Nadel (die ganz langen) oder Stricknadel hängt um sich das irgendwo aufzuhängen oder umzuhängen (ich laufe z.B. gern mal beim Häkeln rum) -> das funktioniert leider nicht. Die Wolle verheddert sich dann immer im Rädchen unter dem "Teller". Aber das liegt nicht unbedingt an dieser Ausführung sondern wäre denke ich überall das Problem. Also nur als Info wenn das jemand mal Testen wollte :)

Fijn om al je losse bollen netjes op te winden. Ik ben er blij mee.
