It does a nice job once you find a place to mount it. Which is kinda hard for me. The only other thing about it i have issues with is the tension rod won't stay up and falls constantly.

The guide keeps falling and causes the yarn to wrap around the gears. The base isn't very big and doesn't hold very much yarn.

The yarn guide doesn't snap into place properly so it falls while winding which makes the yarn wind directly into the gears. It doesn't accommodate 100 gram skeins. The base isn't large enough to hold "normal" sized hanks. This will be returned for another style, it doesn't meet my needs.

Works ok but I thought it would make bigger balls. The threader would not stay in place, I had to rig it.

For the price it's fine. The yarn arm doesn't lock and stay in place. It also doesn't wind a large amount of yarn from a skein but will get about 2 balls from a regular skein of yarn which is easier to handle than the skein. It does take some practice but an even winding helps with a better yarn ball.

I would give it zero. It falls apart mid wind up. The gears pop out of place. Would not recommend

編み物をするようになって2年程度の者です。去年編んだマフラーを解いて別の作品を作りたくなり、兼ねてから購入を迷っていました。結論、早く買えば良かったと大変満足しています。Amazonでもいくつか玉巻機がありますが、こちらの製品は玉巻機以外の付属品が少なく、値段も手頃だったので選びました。ちょっと不安だったのは製品に「ゆるむ、しまる」などの日本語が書いてあるのに、説明書は英語だけのA5サイズで画像も不鮮明なものでした。Amazonの商品ページにある画像を見ながらなんとなくの感覚で設置してみようとしても上手くいかなかったので、対処法を覚え書き程度に残します。1.机や作業台への設置用のノブは金属部を手で支えながらゆるめたりしめたりして調節する。→ネジが空回りしているようでそうしないと一向にノブが出てきません。2.ヤーンガイドの棒は自然に引き出される分よりもう少しだけ引っ張り固定する。→2.5cmから3.7cm程まで引き出せます。引き出しが弱いと巻いている内に揺れで徐々にガイドが緩んで倒れてしまいます。以上2点に気を付ければ不便はないかと思います。買って良かったです。
