Bough this for my daughter that had a hard time managing the yarn while she was crocheting. While I don't crochet, she told me it makes her projects so much easier to manage. It organizes all her needles and keeps the yarn she's using orderly while she crochets.Didn't take long to put together for her and is surprisingly sturdy. I painted it white to match her room.She absolutely loves it.

I really liked this because it's wood, and I love wood. I ordered it in November, and just got around to building it, and I wish I would have assembled it sooner as it has no function. All was well until I got to the point where I had to screw on the side with the holders. The screws didn't thread into the hole properly; I used the supplied screw driver for assembly as to not split the already flimsy / soft wood, but the screw slipped right in - bad sign. It doesn't stand upright and I have no use for it anymore. Can't return because it's past the point of return, plus it's assembled so it immediately went to the trash. Save your money, and maybe buy another one. As of now, I'm just going to have to keep my yarn in my lap and just keep doing what I was doing. Left a really bad taste in my mouth overall. Wouldn't recommend.

I had to put it together myself but it was easy, Love this, holds my string and crochet hooks, scissors etc. I love it.

It's easy and straightforward to assemble but I rand into an issue with flat sides screws not fitting the pre drilled hole was to big for the screws it came with but I was able to use just normal ones without the wood spliting so I would say it's pretty sturdy and it functions like it should the yarn holder spins well and would hold 1 regular skine of yarn or possibly 2 yarn cakes for what is I think it's worth the money

Disappointing. It is too narrow for a standard skein of yarn. The dowel rod does not stick out of a standard skein, so even if you could squish the skein to get it to fit, the dowel won’t stick out to put in the tracks. The quality of the material is good. It was easy to assemble and the idea behind it is great. I am just not finding it useful.

I love the idea behind it but this is not very practical. The yarn including the dowel constantly came out and you had to use it above the position where you were working on your project. In other words don't waste your money on this one. It was pretty easy to asymble and that's the only positive thing to say.

Came broken (just the hook holder that I did not need) so I kept it. The idea seems great-but functionality is not impressive. It needs something to stabilize while in use. It’s squeaks when it does work and again great idea but requires some improvements. Easy to assemble.
