Like any hook, they won't work for everyone and they won't work on every fiber, not these work for me with acrylic in dim lighting. I often crochet while my family plays video games and the only light is from the TV, usually with some dark horror, so the fact that I can use these to work with black yarn in those circumstances is kind of impressive. The battery lasts quite a long time- took me a couple weeks to need to charge it and I stitch several hours a week, almost every day. It took maybe forty min to charge? I didn't pay attention and expected longer, so I can't be sure. I was hesitant to work with the plastic wrench, and I won't use the thinner hooks if I need something tighter, but these are great for amigurumi.I will say that the dimmer light setting helps me more than the brighter one because I have astigmatism and bright lights warp for me, but I have used the brighter light literally as a flashlight to count stitches.I had three hooks that didn't fit right. I think they were too shallow to form a tight fit with the handle, so when I tried to use them, they would turn and fall out just by stitching. I contacted customer support and they were very nice, appreciative m approachable, and ended up ending me a whole new set without having to return the original. That was surprising because I was expecting just to get the 3 hook heads that weren't fitting. I took them out and am gifting the rest of that set to someone in my stitching group. Paying it forward and whatnot.

Up to now I've only used metal hooks. I actually just returned another set of hooks because they weren't perfectly smooth and just tore up my yarn.But these? These are the best hooks I've ever used.The heads are extremely easy to swap out but there's no jiggling or hint that they might pop off. They come organized in their own case with specific, fitted spots for each head. So you're not going to randomly lose them or be digging through the entire thing trying to find a specific size.The light has two different settings depending on how much brightness you need. And there's no guess work about how to turn it off/on.The head is also more pointed that a metal hook making it easier to get into tight places--my current pattern does puff stitches and these have turned them into a DREAM they're so easy to do now!The handle is well curved with enough grip to not slide around but not so much that holding it is a task on its own. Basically, it's comfortable with a really nice, ergonomic shape. I have issues with the flatter ones so this is great for my larger hands.The heads give their sizes in black, easy to read font. My ONLY complaint is that they only give the size in millimeters, not the letters. But that could be a non-issue if you're familiar enough to know what's what.

This hook is amazing! It works perfectly and it did not come broken. I got it so I could crochet in the dark on road trips, and at night when I’m in bed so I don’t have to have the light on when my husband is trying to sleep. The light has 2 settings which I love and the lights is perfect. So far it is has held up great, and it’s super easy to charge. I would highly recommend this for the price. 🧶

This helps big time with darker yarns to be able to see the stitches, light is bright and has one other dimmer setting. However my problem that I had, which is a minor unless you are someone with severe sensory issues, was that the hooks have a hard seam on them that catches on yarn and even slices the fibers of the yarn when rubbed against it too much, so what I had to do was lightly buff it off with a nail buffer so as not to alter the shapes of the hooks. Other than that it’s a good product for the price.

I ended up returning these. They weren't awful but they weren't great either.Pros: Very light weight, fast and long charge power, small and compact.Cons: the light is not bright enough and it snags on the yarn.I ended up returning and purchased a different one from a different company. The new ones that I purchased was more durable and because the needles were metal, it didn't snag the yarn and worked more smoothly. (Zcvtbye is the name of the new ones).I think if the company just worked on smoothing out the rough spots this could be a great product. It just wasn't good enough for me, especially with making products for my crocheting business for customers.

Never reviewed before, but I love this kit. It is light, easy to handle, provides necessary light, it is very comfortable to hold, the heads have not been snagging my yarn and its easy to operate. The kit came exactly as stated. Beat my expectations and I would recommend this product

I bought this and fully charged it, turned it on made sure it worked and then put it up in my crochet bag till I needed it (i share a room with my little one when we travel so I figured this would come in handy after dark) next trip came along I go to use it and it won't turn on. It was DEAD when I never used it since I last charged it. Figured maybe it was a fluke plugged it in and charged it again fully. Few days later went to use it again and AGAIN it was dead when I never even used it. And because it was past the 30 days I can't even get a refund. This is the worst. I was so excited to use this and it doesn't even work. Only thing it's good for now is a paperweight.

Surprisingly bright light, perfect for crocheting at night so I dont have to disturb hubby while I stay up to crochet. Perfect for traveling as metal hooks arent allowed through TSA but since its plastic I can use it on the plane! Love love love

Wow je les adore! Je peux crocheter devant la télé sans allumer la lumière. Même chose dans la voiture pendant que mon mari conduit. Je suis très satisfaite.
