I used the dehydrator the day I received it. Getting back on the bike. Works well, took a temp reading was dead on. Did mangoes and took 10 hours. Cleaned up well, easy to use, really quite. Only problem at first was a little thumping noise that started and then disappeared as it warmed up.

I have purchased nine (9) dehydrator on Amazon and all have one thing in common, they rarely last more than one year with regular use. This dehydrator is my newest purchase and is at a higher quality than all the other. The heating element and blower are in the back and evenly distributes the hot air which dries out everything evenly.The tray is slightly smaller than my last dehydrator but is sufficient.The controls I really like and seem to work perfect. You can make a food/temperature setting at the touch of a button and then reset everything by hitting the same button, easyI have learned from past experience to not overfill the trays which reduces airflow and could overheat the unit and to purchase the warranty.So far this dehydrator is working great and I would recommend.

I gave this as a giftandcwasctold it gets very hot in back.Maybe that's ok but it's rated high wattage fir it's size & that's one reason I git it.First delivery was damaged in shipping as the metal is quite thin.Customer service was AMAZING & I had a new one in 2 days! It was fine except a minor bend I was able to correct myself.It was actually smaller than I thought it would be so check dimensions.It fits under the kitchen counter easily but I would only store it there but then actually use it out in the open so no close flammables are above.

I use it for 3d printer filament drying. Relatively compact, holds 3 spools, simple to use.

Not only does this machine look good sitting on top of my small freezer, it is quieter than others I had in the past. I like the control knobs in the front to make easy access and monitoring while dehydrating. I made Venison Jerky sticks with The Sausage Maker's seasoning for the first time use and it was perfect. I followed instructions at 165 for 6 hours and the texture was to my liking. Not too hard or chewy. Have some packaged for my next deer hunt already.
