When you first open the package, the necklace is folded, so you have to lay it flat underneath a book or something for 24 hours in order for it lay on your collarbone flat. It's a fabric on the back side so it feels soft on the skin.

Extremely disapointed in this product. First time we used this, the chain broke. by the third time the entire chain was falling apart. Had to use a safety pin to make sure it stayed in place.

I bought this necklace as part of my costume accessory. I was expecting something heavy as it is supposedly made of beads but it was light with cloth material as backing and it came folded. I was disappointed not meeting my expectations but the color is good and it served as worn as an accessory.
