Phone arrived with an instruction booklet in Chinese characters; no instruction booklet in English. We tracked down and downloaded an English version from the internet and found out that you have to buy an additional power adapter, or a Power Over the Internet hub/switch, to provide power to the phone. These are not provided with the phone.

We have about 40 of these phones and they have an extremely high failure rate, and I estimate they last 1-2 years before needing replacement. The most common failure is the handset hook switch, which stops working after so many pickup cycles (to where the phone will no longer answer when the handset is lifted). We are gradually phasing out these phones as they fail. The 40P and 42S also have the same failure points (due to those failures we started phasing in the 43U but they did not prove durable either). I would not recommend purchasing these phones or any Yealink, at least not for a busy office environment.

We bought several of these phones for our office. Most of them work fine and have the features we need. However, one did not and trying to get it fixed or replaced after using it less than one year has been horrible. It has been almost 6 months of back and forth, going around in circles. Now they say they will replace it, to contact Amazon, but amazon says it is out of their hands since it is now past the one year warranty, contact the manufacturer. What a nightmare!

This phone is awful. Set-up instructions to set-up make no sense. I tried to use for work dropped calls, will not call out, whatever calls I get are for other employees and it will not allow me to transfer. Gave up after two hours of fruitless effort.

Replaced a phone that broke for my business delivered in time but no power lead couldn't get one locally so had to wait over a week for one to come from amazon tried the company the phone came from couldn't get any response

phone is just as advertised BUT came with no plug-no power cord!! So I had to buy a power cord so that the phone will work!! I have no idea why a product would be sold with no power plug :(
