I use the step platform at the higher height, which means that there are separate step pieces that click into place on the underside of the platform. My only complaint is that one of these pieces doesn’t click in tightly, and so it falls out if I lift the entire step platform to move it somewhere else. But I like the platform - it’s very sturdy and sits solidly on the floor even if I’m standing along one edge. Very good product.

I couldn't be happier with this exercise step. I am a big girl and it doesn't give at all when I use it. It is low enough for me to actually use for my beginning workout to help with using steps. The size is better than i could have hoped. It has one riser but it will be awhile before i need that. So happy with this purchase!!

I needed a step platform to do some of my physical therapy. I didn't want to spend a lot of money but I also didn't want anything cheap. This was the least expensive step platform I found, I wanted pink and black, so this was perfect! It is not cheap at all. I can put my full weight (145) on it and it doesn't give at all. I recommend!!

I just got this Aerobic Mini-step today. I put it together and the two risers for the platform snapped into place very nicely and stayed there. It was a good workout. I understand that there are some who received a warped unit, but mine was not. Perhaps I got lucky. This step is the perfect dimensions as it takes up less space than traditional size Aerobic steps. I am working out 25 minutes per day, 6 days a week at this point, and hope this step will hold up. If not, I will revise my review, but this little step feels pretty darn sturdy, and the price cannot be beat! So, all in all, I am very happy with this purchase, and no I did not get paid for this review nor did I get it for free.

Looks great and serves it's purpose. The only thing that I will complain about is that one of the legs usually falls off when picked up to carry.

As they say "looks can be deceiving". Definitely the case with this step. I was very impressed when I first opened it up, it felt solid, and was an awesome size. Having recently had a spinal fusion surgery - amongst other operations and procedures, I was purchasing this to assist me with rehabilitation and recovery. I decided to do a small workout using this step and discovered it has a dangerous manufacturing fault (or is just generally poor quality). As can be seen in the pictures above, particularly the one with the ruler across it showing the problem area. The steps top layer has a defect and dramatically sinks when any weight is put on it. This was not immediately noticeable until, of course, my foot landed on it and got caught in it! Basically tripping me. Upon further inspection it sinks on the edges of both sides. Now, as can be seen in the image with the ruler across, it has began developing a permanent "depression". Over time this will continue to get worse and worse and if you decided to continue using it then it would be best to "exercise" extreme caution on where your foot placement is. Unfortunately for me, I have permanent nerve damage from the spinal issues and now due to my foot catching on the sunken part of this product this has now aggravated it. It took 3 hours, being transferred from department to department and multiple Amazon representatives avoiding questions or saying they didn't know this or that. They required me to answer all their questions and requested further evidence of the fault in order to decide whether to remove the product from sale to cover themselves from any further issues. Again, unfortunately, there already is an issue...me. Not only did I waste 3 hours of my time due to their customer service (or lack of), but I had to participate in THEIR internal investigation, wait 24 hours to speak to someone in a position to talk about situations like this, no longer have a suitable product to use, and to top it off their product has aggravated an injury I have spent nearly a year trying to recover from.Finally the relevant department contacts me and offers minimal further assistance. Man, Amazon's customer service and experience is just seriously lacking sometimes. Looks like this will need to be taken further.
