Great product. Saves money on buying a set of Kettlebells. It has three locking collars with it. If you use at least two of them with the handle, it stays tight. You have to tighten them down good and I haven't had any trouble with it coming loose. It is plastic but I have a set of plastic dumbbell handles I had for over ten years now and have never had any trouble with them either. I had up to sixty pounds on them. It must have a steal core under the plastic or it is a tough plastic. I like the price and quality, plus it is a lot cheaper than buying a whole set of kettlebells.

I had six 5-pound plates (30 pounds) lying around and wanted to create a kettlebell. This product was PERFECT. I was scared off by people writing that it was "plastic" and would break. Yes, it is plastic, but the handle has a weightiness to it and the "set screw" was certainly strong enough to hold 30 pounds.So, if you are looking for an easy and cost-effective way to turn some old weights into a kettlebell, this is a great solution. If you are a normal person who sets the kettlebell back on the floor normally, this is plenty strong enough.If you are trying to create a 100 pound monster, this is probably not for you. If you drop / smash the kettlebell on the floor after your set, buy a regular kettlebell.

Its made out of plastic. Just for safety reason I wouldn't use for heavy overhead swings or swing towards another person.

This is an excellent product for kettlebell swings and for pull up row type exercises. I don't think that it would be good for the clean and jerk style work outs as the handle is rubber and would not slip effectively for this purpose. That said I have a full set of dumbbells which I'd rather use and consider to be more effective for non swinging kettlebell moves. These handles can easily support 50 pounds plus, which is what I'm using for the row workout. I am currently using 35 pounds for the kettlebell swing and might work my way up to 40 or 45. I purchased two of these while they were on sale and consider them an excellent deal compared to the other copies of this same style, this giving me the advantage of not having to shift weights between sets. I like the all rubber grip over the half hard rubber and half soft rubber grip of the other variety scene in the orange brand. These handles are also a smidgeon larger than the orange brand, so if you want the extra hand space this may be a consideration for you as well. As for the color they are definitely red if that makes a difference. The plastic spin locks are a little on the small size so I am employing a pair of spare all metal spin locks that are easier to tighten (one on each handle). As far as loosening during a kettlebell swing move, this is highly unlikely. If you twist them securely into place and follow them up with a metal spin lock your hand will likely sprain from twisting force (if you are careless) before the handle would loosen. Once I've twisted mine into place it takes an extreme amount of force to loosen them, so don't have any concern there if you properly secure both the post and the spin lock individually. The handles would likely make great pushup tools, but I already have a product designed specifically for that purpose, that said if you are willing to disassemble the product for that purpose I'm certain this would be of added value to you. Recommended.

This is an extremely dangerous product! I screwed the screws tightly on with 12lb of weight plates on, and the screws unscrewed right off while I was doing deadlifts. The plates dropped right off, luckily missing my feet and my dog who was close by. The idea is great but the design is faulty. DON'T GET IT

I use these twice a week as part of my lower body workout routine for Kettlebell swings. I am up to 60 lb in weights and these continue to work well. That was what I needed these for but they are far more versatile and you could likely do more with these. They are plastic but strong enough for me so far.

Yes it is plastic, but it is very solid. It's rated for 100lbs, and it will surely do this.I got one for sumo squats, the double hand access is perfect.I liked the price, and this one is fine for the 1inch plates I have.

Solide, il inspire confiance. Je monte a 25kg et rien ne bouge, pas de bruits suspects.Ayant de grandes mains, une poignée un peu plus large et plus ergonomique et ça aurait été parfait.Pour le prix, ça vaut quand même le coup, vous pouvez vous faire une infinité de kettlebell sans avoir besoin de tous les payer et de tous les stocker !

Information vorab: die nutzbare Länge für Gewichte nach Abzug Griff und 1 Schraube ist ca. 13,6cm. Habe sie gekauft weil ich auf den Geschmack mit Kettlebells gekommen bin aber nicht immer wieder eine neue kaufen wollte. Ich hatte einige 2er Paare Gewichte komplett aus Gusseisen die ich nicht mehr benutze, und sie dann dort weiter benutzen können. Die Gewichte haben alle eine 3cm Öffnung aber das ist kein Problem, insgesamt aktuell 12,5kg drauf und alles hält soweit. Werde aber denke ich die das ein anderer User hier gemacht hat auch Splinte oben rein machen, nur zur Sicherheit.Ich benutze sie aber auch nicht zum Schwingen sondern für Lift- und Curl Übungen. Ist zwar aus Plastik aber recht solide, dank den Gummipads scheinen die Schrauben auch fest zu sitzen.
