The item came damaged, not by shipping but by poor packing. The plastic curved protective resting points need to be better secured. A few fell off the rails when opening the container and one was badly distorted by the parts jammed against it in the box.This unit would be best for the one inch handled dumbbells, like those with steel handles. My ProsourceFit Neoprene weights had thicker handles and only the two smallest dumbbell weights fit in this rack. My larger dumbbells would only fit if I extremely modified (recut) the rack slots so I ended up returning this unit. I tried asking this question before purchase but received no reply to my inquiry so I ended up having to return the item and buy a rail rack instead that could hold larger than the 5 pound ProsourceFit dumbbells.PROS:- Would work well for the thinner metal handled dumbbells- Nice appearance and descent steel rackCONS:- Does not work for neoprene dumbbells which tend to have thicker handles as the size of the weight increases
