This is a good spotting drill however the shank is way too long.Especially on my mini lathe, its unusable. However the grind is good and it does work. They just need to make them a little smaller.

Really nice, I used this for a project that had 150 holes, also used it to machine chamfers!

Maybe good for very light work, but it won’t last long without sharpening.

Very sharp. No coating, so it's safe to use on aluminum.Unlike many other cutters I've bought on online, this one was properly packaged, and covered in an oily substance to protect against rust during mailing.

Cuts into tool steel without an issue.Spot and chamfer at the same time, I don't pick up a countersink anymore. I even use it by hand to deburr the back of a hole.Best of all, it is super easy to sharpen. Whereas a single flute countersink requires fixturing to sharpen properly.

If you’re expecting a .5, 90 degree spotting drill… Don’t. You’re going to get an M6 tap.
